I have a build where I roleplay snape's ancestor, Rochecan Snape from 1800's. I maxed out room of req section for plants and potions. Then maxed dark arts for using unforgivable curses. Been lots of fun. Got Herbology 3 on all gear so my plants destoy stuff. Couple chomping cabbages destroy a troll fast. 1200+ damage a bite

I really do hope we get the ability to reassign talents at some point. They can even make it a side quest in a DLC

If you are playing on PC there is a mod (potion mod) that will allow you to reset your talent points, a must have in my opinion.

Watched this once before unlocking talents and again after unlocking the talents - thank you for your analysis it helps put things into perspective! Keep up the awesome work!

I no longer bother with the extended stupefy; it's unnecessary, for the same reason as the extended curse. I really like the stealth style, but I put a point into sprint under disillusionment rather than extended potion time. I just don't need it. On my last couple of playthroughs the only invisibility potion I used was the one Fatimah Lawang made me drink, which I also used to complete Sharp's assignment. Did you know that with stacked Ambush III you can do a big accio mastery pull followed by incendio mastery to kill everything without breaking stealth? Surprised me, too, but I love it!

I really hope Youtube has paid you fairly well for your videos, because I'm sure you've helped so many players with your guides. Thanks for all your hard work.

I have almost finished the game--I have about 10 unused points and it's not too challenging... all stealth skills are useful, and cabbage and mandrake help are really powerful--especially if you take mandrake traits. The imperius trait is really strong too.

Such a great video! So thorough and clear. Thank you so much for all of your detail and specificity. Subscribed 🎉

The one about doing a manual save before spending talent points is solid gold. You could probably do a video all about points in the game where it makes sense to do a manual save before proceeding

this video is very helpful, i’ve been searching for someone that explains this in depth, thank you very much!!
  • @cozymatcha11
On my 2nd playthrough right now, and I will definitely be using this video! I appreciate all the tips that you have included in this video and even more so because you went over each one with clear and concise detail. I did had some questions that popped up whilst watching this video but you always end up addressing it either a few seconds later hahaha. Incredibly organized and thoughtful video! Thank you for making and sharing this video and the trait spreadsheet! ^^
  • @niggtendo
These videos lately have been SO helpful. I have like 15 talents points not really sure what to spend them on
  • @keithsavagelives
I love the video, very helpful introduction to Talents. My own build is more stealthy, but still focused on combat. I have only one Talent from the Dark Arts card, the Stupifying Curse, but almost all of the Spell and Core cards. I have all of the Stealth card Talents. (And one from the Room card, the extra Chomping Cabbage!)

Love your content bud! One note - the HP potion talents give fixed HP amounts. The first talent boosts Wiggenweld by 900HP, the second talent adds an additional 2300HP. So it NEVER makes any sense to take the second Wiggenweld talent at any point before level 29 or 30--you simply don't have enough HP. You kind of made that point also, but the math is painful! It's like a cruel trick for that perk to be available at level 16 when it is mathematically useless.
  • @Aimu1
On my third play through and was curious of others builds. Came by to see what your build was after finding you in the search, was helpful and straight forward so giving a like. Thank you!
  • @Mursaat666
i Tried to avoid dark arts but Unfogivable III is just really stronk and using Arresto Momentum as a opener with the curse perk (which knocks opponents up), then unloading with Descendo which does extra damage to oponents that are floating, and following up with Glacio, and then Bombarda is just too good IMO
  • Thank you for your videos!!! Just subscribed. Love the explanations and the tips you give 👌
