I always wondered why they never make a “double-wide” Twix, making one that’s the size of both in one bar. I wonder if there’d be a negative difference to changing the width as apposed to just the length (fun size for example)

My favorite part of the twix campaign is they literally created a weird and pointless rivalry just to make people talk about them, and it actually worked

I’ve only ever eaten the miniature ones so I’ve always just associated left vs right as a joke.

I remember hearing "the first bite of an apple always tastes the best" a lot when I was a kid. I always thought it was just because your taste buds weren't ready or used to the flavor yet.

To get a more accurate "crunchiness" test, you could have performed a standard tensile or bend test, basically determining how much force is required to break a twix bar (though, since twix contain some semisolid-compounds (caramel, chocolate) the strain-rate dependency of the strength would be tricky).

I had a history teacher in middle school that had her room open for students at lunch. She would always give Twix to the students that came to visit her. To this day still wonder how she's doing and wondering how she can afford so many Twix. 🤔
