The 5 acre pond holds around 9 million gallons of water. We are pumping 100 gallons a minute until it fills up!

The long critter at the end is called a Long-tailed weasel and they are common to Alabama. They hang out on farmland and by streams and river banks. They're great at keeping the rodent population down. Most likely you will see more of them with the addition of your pond. Enjoy the free rat catching services 😃

Never in my life would I of ever thought I'd be this invested to see a pond be made start to finish. But here I am. Thank you for taking us along for the ride
  • This is unbelievable, he makes long projects with boring things required to do, entertaining. this is truly a must watch series everyone should watch.
  • @ryanh487
The unkowns are gray fox. They're smaller and more cat-like than red fox. Cool project!

Such an enjoyable series. I’m not particularly fond of fishing and I think the YouTube algorithm linked me up with this by accident because I am a “bass” player (bass guitar!). However, it’s become one of my favorite things to watch since I started on about week 3. Keep it up!!

Minks or weasels is what it looks like to me but hard to tell.something along those lines.great series glad to see new videos.

I'd lay the cables for the lights on the ground/bottom of the lake. Leaving them hang on the dock beams will create contact areas on parts of the cables which will wear over time with the constant water movement
  • I'm from a major city in the UK and have never been fishing before, but I love watching these videos. It's a great window into some southern culture and I'm loving the progress!
  • @bjamin0075
The unknown wild animals look like weasels or ferrets. And the pond is looking awesome, The whole family loves your channel. Great job 👍🏻

"I'm worried about the sun overheating the GoPro, and rain wrecking the GoPro." Coincidentally, the solution to both would've been tying an umbrella to the post.
  • @Dogsrule777
Definitely a pair of Stoats because of the black dot at the end of the tale. And they’re HUGE for typical stoats! ✊🏽🏆
  • This is the coolest series of videos I’ve seen on YouTube. I’ve always wanted to build a pond but haven’t had the means. I’m living thru this.
  • @BornIn1500
You saw red fox before. Those are grey fox, which are smaller than the red. That black tip on the tail is a good way to tell the difference between the species.
  • @brodirowley7592
Bama Bass’s voice makes this more relaxing, anybody else feel it?
  • @darrenmoore2794
Shear torture not having a video this week. Lol. Really enjoy what you do. Keep it going for years. Thank you
  • @user-up3vq5yp3r
Outstanding pond and property. I am a Veteran who lived down South for awhile. Moved back north for awhile but looking to move back south. You make Bama on option. Maybe one day I can come fish your pond. 🇺🇸
  • @sawyeradams6824
The first is a red fox, the second two are grey fox. Awesome pond! I can’t wait to see it filled!
  • @chaeairsoft
I’m so invested in this series and honestly I have no idea why
  • @sarahbear2032
As amazing as all of the work has been, I can not wait to see how beautiful this is in 5 years. After all the vegetation and life grows around it, I can only imagine
