Packing a new, more powerful Prostar engine and an optional automatic, this look-at-me trike is more accessible than ever. It’s also much better to drive and live with.

I got my new SS in 2017SLR. I love it. Good gas mileage, fun to drive, and it can run down the ROAD very nicely. 85 mph with ease. NOW if I want to go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds I would buy a REAL race car. BUT MY SS ISNT BUILT RACING.

I want them to build a 4 wheel version with the back styled just like the front. I think that'd actually be cool looking.

Just bought this yesterday :) 100% worth the 32k it came out to be

Not sure if this is just a Chicago thing, but around here brothas from da 'hood with money to spend love these things.

It would’ve been nice to hear the engine
  • Electric Slingshot with 3 motors . Or Quad Electric would be something ! Wonder if I can convert my 2020 !

I bought a used 2020 R With the Polaris motor 5 speed 3400 miles on it What is weird is the max 8500 rpm range It's weird because when it reaches it it don't cut out or anything like that like other vehicles do it just stays steady and don't go no higher

I'ts funny to always read these comments. It's always a bunch of people who never owned a Slingshot, owned a motorcycle, or owned a real sports car. I still own all three. My Slingshot is not comparable with either of the two. It's in a class by itself. It's the only vehicle I have owned that sparks a conversation from all walks of life; no matter what age. I don't think it would have so many stares and conversation; if it was such a bad choice of purchase. I have a 2015. I have many stories to tell because of this vehicle. The new 2020 is not different enough for me to justify a new purchase. Since mine is custom I have changed suspension, brakes, and did performance upgrades. The aftermarket makes many things. I have no desire for an automatic Slingshot. Too all the negative comments. Whatever car you drive or motorcycle you ride. It will be invisible to the public; if you pull up next to a Slingshot.
  • I still have a 2016. I was pissed that you couldn’t get an automatic and now I would hate to drive an automatic

Which would want that as an automatic? Manual transmission is a must.

I wonder what the width of the rear tire is?
