Southgate is too much of a wet lettuce to drop Kane. No back bone whatsoever.

To think if harry kane hadnt been pushed off the pitch southgate wouldnt have subbed him. Another example of Southgate being reactive rather than proactive.
  • Every time Kane drops deep he takes the pressure off the opposition's defence and means England don't have a target when they gain possession and want to attack. Southgate needs to tell him stay up or get off

hes so passive and does nothing, harry kane offers nothing

The Harry Kane playing in defence tactic cost us the euros at Wembley , Chiellini and Bonnucci where playing like wingers that night So it’s been happening abd killing us for a long time now

21 of Kane’s England goals have come from the penalty spot remember lads, and oddly enough, the most vital of the lot, he actually missed, because his legs were gone, way back then. Southgate should of given more game time too both Watkins and Toney, after winning the very first game, therefore showing our squad strength, and to keep Kane fresher, if and when required, in the knockout stages. Not proactive enough In decisions, for me. 🤔🙏🏻🙏🏻
  • Going into the quarterfinals I thought give Kane another chance given his record , but after 5 games I think it’s time to give another striker a start, someone who can hold the ball up or break defensive lines, Kane hasnt been doing either… Kane game is to drop deep and get into the box…. With this England side that doesn’t work as it’s too congested in midfield … or perhaps he’s carrying a knock because he doesn’t look like a threat.

No one is doubting Kane's record, but right now he looks spent. At least keep him on as sub. We need players that can exploit the crosses from the flanks

Harry Kane, isn't a big game player. UCL Final in '19? WC SF '18?, Euro '20 Final? Skied penalty against France WC QF '22. It's a Euro SF on Wednesday. We can read the script already. Southgate, will start him. Kane, will be woeful. Southgate, will take him off with 5 minutes left, when England are are goal behind and it's too late to do anything.

His touch has been poor, that will not change in a few days. Drop him, it’s not a big deal
  • Trippier is the worst for back passes. That guy is so scared and so negative it is not true. I would rather have Alexander-Arnold.
  • @tearsOfdisgust
no defender is following kane back into his own half , no striker up front means no pressure up front , no striker up front means no targetman up front , southgate and kane are 2 headless chicken that found eachother. either kane stays upfront or change kane for tony... end of discussion

Why not fi a starting place for Toney, then bring Kane on after 65 mins if we haven't got anywhere? What about a starting place for Palmer too? If we play against Holland like we did against Switzerland we are going to get seriously stuffed. I like the idea that's being floated elsewhere of bringing Klopp in for Southgate.
  • Start the "Iceman" Ivan Toney. The way he stared down the keeper to score his penalty shows his desire to score 👍
  • @DannCuff
It was a good header f**** open goal 🤣🤣🤣🤦🤦🤦

I'm a Spurs fan and I can tell you that Harry Kane goes missing in so many games. Yes he rings up the stats over a season but how many of them are penalties, tap ins or goals that don't matter. Its like playing with 10 men most of the time. Drop him! (Southgate won't though because he is a clueless coward.)
  • @UJustGotaDose
He needs to drop Kane and start toney and Watkins together give the Dutch something to worry about the Dutch defence will not worry about marking a statue playing kane is the same as playing with 10 men
  • @3chords490
Southgate’s aim is to try and emulate Alf Ramsay and 1966 , well , Ramsay was brave enough to not play Jimmy Greaves and we won the World Cup with Geoff Hurst.
