'In every other circumstance we consider men beating up women to be wrong, but yesterday it was deemed acceptable by the IOC because it was "sport".'

Lottie Moore believes the Angela Carini vs Imane Khelif boxing match 'glorified male violence against women'.

2024 a year without Olympics. Not watching a single event. Cheers.

The smirk of the man when the woman was defeated tells us all !
  • @MeowingKittyCat
Comparing this case to Michael Phelps is ridiculous -- Michael Phelps was swimming, against other men, not beating women to a pulp.
  • @paradox7358
They dont have the balls to fight the men!
  • @user-fu5wx1fn6y
The DNA shows he is male so should not be fighting females. The fact that he lost years ago against women doesn't hold water as he has grown in strength and stature since then

What did you expect from the IOC? Of course they defended their wrong decision, just like they are defending the very offensive and completely inappropriate opening ceremonies. The only way this will end is with successful lawsuits of the IOC or a female athlete dies. If this does not end soon it will be the end of women's sports and the olympics because every country will use "I identify as a female" male athletes to compete against real women. I have sympathy for the Algerian boxer because he was born with a medical problem which prevented is tested from descending out of his body and as a result his parents raised him as a girl. This is extremely rare - but we cannot put the lives of women to make one person in a million feel better. The fact is that he still had testicles and all the benefits of testosterone.

Absolutely bonkers that this is even a debate.
  • @DoNotBeSheep4217
The boxer was not born female, he was raised female because his testicles were inside his body so his parents raised him as a girl. I was a good athlete in my youth but I knew I could never compete in the olympics because of my extreme asthma. I did not demand that the IOC give me a 2 lap handicap so that I could compete. The olympics is about excellence, it's not about participation.

The rules are absolute nonsense and are totally unfit for purpose!!!! GET MEN OUT OF WOMENS SPORTS AND BACK INTO MENS !!!!!Simple💪Keep shining your light Lottie …. 👏❤️💐
  • It's not "Glorifying" violence. The ovehelming majority of people are appalled by this.
  • @smitsos1
Michael Phelps wasn't swimming against women... haha what a muppet. We're not talking about people with special physiological advantages we are talking about men competing in women's sport. That was a very disingenuous analogy.
  • @DoNotBeSheep4217
She is not transgender by choice but Kalief is male but the physical genitalia did not look entirely male so his parents raised himself as a female. His testicles were inside his body. He went through male puberty and looks male
  • @Sparky245
It's about time Trump rolled into the Whitehouse to take all this ambiguity out of this sh!t show!
  • @jiminverness
    1. Khelif has Y sex chromosome, therefore he is MALE. 2. I don't remember Micheal Phelps ever competing in any WOMEN'S competitions?
  • @virginiawai8485
To the commentator who used Phelp as an example, he was competing against male, he was not competing against women.
