Let's draw together, a whole cityscape.

We draw and paint a cityscape with ink and watercolor. I use another new sketchbook with hot-pressed paper. Does it work, let´s find out.

I just love your video tutorials I learn so much especially inking methods and ideas. Thanks so much for doing these.
  • Wow - your sketching and painting process is so hypnotic to watch - I'm a big fan!

Amazing drawing as usual. If I may though, I feel like a calmer and darker background music would fit your style much better :D

Really nice, thanks for sharing! Could you explain how you do the "ink splashes" with the nib?

I love these quirky sketches. Great to watch you quickly sketching and your skill with dip pens is amazing. So much fun. It makes me want to get some dip pens. I’ve only used fountain pens so far. May I make a small suggestion about your videos, though? When you put on the music, it’s too loud compared to your voice and also not necessary when it’s just a few seconds to fill in. Thanks for sharing your talents

Wirklich klasse! Eine virtuelle Stadt- das werde ich auch ausprobieren! Zum Papier: wäre das genauso auf dem sketchbook Papier gegangen (125g)? Oder doch besser hier das 300 g Papier nehmen? Grüße Claudia
  • Pretty cool. Thanks Martin. Have you ever tried "Inktense" as a medium? It's used as a watercolor medium, but it's stays like ink...very vibrant and intense. Thus INKTENSE by Derwent

I know why you started on the right. Your horizon line had an accidental bump in it, so you put a tree there. And from there on, you continued to the right, as usual. 😅

Excellent artwork. Thank you for sharing. Can you please explain your technique for splattering ink with the nib. Although you make it look so simple, I just cannot master the effect. Thank you. 🙏🏻
