In this video I decided to try and create my first ever 3d game as a 2d pixel art game developer. I had a great time trying out Godot and would love to continue developing games in both 2D and 3D moving forward. Let me know your thoughts in the comments on what I should try making next (or what engine)!

    Welcome home, Godot Brother.

"how i mastered godot in 5 days" = had 7 years of practice before trying the same type of thing for a 4th time XD (but fr, proud to always see people learning more every day)
  • I mastered Godot by 1 month working on my Sandbox open world to test all knowledge and feature I learned. Godot is hard for beginners. Tons of node system. But it's honestly worth the try! I made games in Scratch and Pocket Code for 5 years now. And recently tried Unity on 2022. But given that Godot satisfied me.... I can say Godot is my platform!!! No more childish code

I think now anyone can become an independent game developer with the availability of all these free open source tools out there. Very nice work, really encouraging. 👍👍👍

You really impresed me reece on trying out 3D game dev for a first go. Really fun interesting borrowed concept from a previous game of yours to. Loved how ya managed to make a fun little simple racing style collectathon arcade game out of the platformer. After seeing this it inspired me to actually give learning a engine like godot and game maker studio a try now since they both use similar language to python which I've been learning the past year with pygame. Thanks for these encouraging style videos Reece.
