This guy seems to undersell his role in the car culture here. He's personal friends with Houston from Royalty Exotics, Ed (obviously) and Kyle from 1320 at a minimum...and got a heritage Ford GT allocation...My man isn't just some lawn boy from kentucky, he's just very humble.

This guy is truly what it means to be a car guy, he mentioned he lives in the Edmond, Oklahoma area, and I can't remember a Cars and Coffee (in Edmond) where I didn't see his GT there out for everyone to enjoy. I still have pics of it on my phone from months ago. Truly a beautiful car
  • "If you ever sell this thing, it's gonna bring all the value" "I'm not in it for that. It's really about the experience, it's about the story...It's really about the car" This is the kind of customer brands should sell their limited production run cars to. Not people who are interested in the money behind it, but who are in it for the love of cars and their love for that particular brand.

More stories with guys like Andy please. Humble, down to earth, and extremely relatable. Great story buddy.

I love he made his cash to buy his cars by mowing lawns, this is actually a common venue for us car nuts. My lawn mowing cash bought a clapped out 64 tripower 4 speed GTO ragtop. Love this story

As a car guy I can’t comprehend 2 things : 1. Selling a 2006 GT 2. Turning down a Heritage. But it’s really nice to know that a non-famous non-influencer was able to get one. Also liked hearing “yeah I had a 720 as a daily driver” lol
  • @eddiebaker3267
So this guy bought ONE car at a time, not ten, though hard work, not laughing and destroying things on YouTube? Good on him!
  • @FlyingTigersKMT
This is the kind of person that should get these special cars. He's in for the passion not the money.
  • @my31and37
Totally get his point about REAL car guys...And great to see someone that busted his hump to attain his automotive dreams. That really takes the excuses out of not getting what you want..
  • @SkodaYetiFan
God that has to be the best looking new GT they ever made. What a stunning car, just perfection. Beautiful wheels too.
  • @JDelta87
Spoken like an enthusiast. It’s more about the experience than the money for him.
  • Here in Stillwater Minnesota a carpenter was doing extensive upgrades to a house when the 2008 crash happened. The house owner had a red with white stripes 05 or 06 Ford GT and his income dived after the market tanked. The carpenter finished the house and the house owners only way to pay the contractor was with the Ford GT. So the house owner signed over the title and the carpenter took ownership of the GT which he drove around town almost every day that it wasn’t winter time. The carpenter must have sold it or parked it since I haven’t seen it in several years. But the value of an 05/06 GT has climbed enough to buy a very nice house.

These are the types of people who deserve cars like this. Glad Ford saw that.
  • @Balisage
Seen this car in OKC all the time. Makes me so happy everytime and I'm so glad he drives it regularly. Really good guy.
  • @RJSAMCRO
This is on my top 3 Vin Wiki stories. A car guy thru and thru who has crazy cool passion for cars is just so dam cool.
  • @JordansDroid
Man this channel never disappoints. Thank you once again Ed for having a platform where stories like this can be shared for all of us to enjoy!
  • @clutchmedia9800
Seeing this car out at Coffee and Cars OKC always makes my day. I love seeing it not sit inside as some garage queen, but instead it's driven hard. The spec is gorgeous with the silver HREs, same goes for your 765 Andy. Keep achieving your dreams and I can't wait to see the other incredible cars you'll own!
  • That car is amazing, and the HRE wheels are perfect on it. But I wouldn't have sold the '05. To me, that is in the top 5 most beautiful cars of all time.
