I’ve been a Phillies fan my entire life and I loved Bryce even when he was a National. I was thrilled when he signed with Philly.

As a Phillies fan who loved his grit even on the rival Nationals, I can't be prouder to have him represent the city I love more than anything ... Thanks for making this video!

Been cheering on my beloved Phillies since the early 70s. Schmidt was my all time favorite, Utley and Rollins were close behind. I didn't want Harper to sign with Philly, I thought he was arrogant and over rated as well. When he signed and I watched his press conference, he changed my mind. "I took #3 because the Phillies fans devotion to #34 and Roy Halladay so they could retire the number." He wanted to play in the city that booed him the most because he loved that the fans were so passionate and would hold him accountable. He wanted to retire as a Phillie. Then he came out decked in Phillie Phanatic gear. I was sold, and he has delivered. He is the perfect fit for us Philly fans and now he is my favorite Phillies player of all time.

Harper is one of the nicest guy's you will ever meet. South Jersey Philly Fan here. Harper will go out of his way to sign autographs and help his neighbors. Look up Harper asks girl to prom for a neighbor kid. Just because he is a Bad Boy so to speak on the field, does not make him a Bad Boy in real life.
  • Been a Harper fan since day 1. Why are we getting mad at players who bring excitement to a dying sport? Harper, Ohtani, Trout, all of these dudes have made baseball fun to watch for the past decade.

This man is a great person person. Am a 65 year old man. I walked to Connie mack stadium with my dad and brothers back in the 60s. I love love the Phillies win or lose. Phillies are my team. Harper was born to play in Philly. He is Philadelphia. He hates to lose. But he has learned to move on from it. Just like us Philadelphia sports fans always have. Maybe next year that's Philly maybe next year
  • Until you are put under that kind of performance pressure, you will never know how difficult it is to do a job for your team. Baseball is one of the most competitive sports in the world, every young person dreams one day of being great. You are so charged before a game, emotions are at a peak. When calls don't go your way or another player is causing a disruption in your plan, emotions erupt. It's our competitive nature and it drives us to be better athletes. Bryce is one of the greatest players of our time, hope he reaches the personal heights he is striving for. I fell short in my life with no regrets.
  • Not a Philly fan or a fan of crazy Fans but this man is a Great Player.

As a Nats fan I’ll admit there was some bitterness when Bryce left in 2019 and we certainly did miss him. It was like seeing your girl break up with you and get with your rival. But we then won a series and Harper gets to be the hero that Philly deserves and carve out a place in history for himself in the city of brotherly love. Happy that We here in DC got to be a part of Harps path and will look forward to many more games against him reguardless of how many times he gets us.

People can say what they want but he's done nothing but great things here in Philly he luvs philly and it shows thats all I need....... and care about..
  • @jackleonard2088
As a lifelong Philly fan Harper has more than lived up to the hype. And even though at times including this year he does some things that can be frustrating he’s proven that he’s become a much better person and a really really good ball player
