  • Rosie you are like a magical forest dwelling elf. Building, cooking, sewing. Ethereal and magical. Stories will be told about you 💖

I was once told that you can’t eat an elephant all at once. (Just a saying, I love elephants). He told me I could eat an elephant a bit at a time. I really needed to hear that when I was overwhelmed with grief from a dying parent and overloaded with the responsibility’s of preparing the estate. It really stuck with me and I DID get through it. Just takes time and diligence
  • Rosie, don't be overwhelmed by everything that needs doing. With so many projects, you can pick and choose which ones to do and in which order, such as that annoying door! Taking time to sew is so enjoyable, almost a reprieve from carpentry work and something you do just for yourself, and you so deserve to spoil yourself, a nice balance of time. Life can be so disappointing, such as the bike incident, however, walks in the woods and lunch on a blanket surrounded by nature is a wonderful way to compensate. Thanks again for sharing your life with us! So many of us wish we had taken the road less traveled as you have. You are beautiful inside and out, here's a warm hug of encouragement! Please post again soon!

'Okay, i'm going to eat pastries now' - the correct solution to everything! Great video, thanks Rosie! Edit: Love that old putty-white colour for the windows/door.

Handmade is Imperfect. You will be the only person who knows where the imperfections are. The rest of us just marvel at your skills!

The filmmaking is reaching new heights now. The camera work on close and medium shots is slicker, the end was especially strong, pulling the emotion together. Love the enriching tone of how bringing simplicity and beauty together strikes such a plaintiff chord, and because its so personal, it has much more of an impact, telling its oddly detailed story. You leave out so much, to really good effect.

One step at a time. Less to think about less stress. It will be done eventually. Look what you have accomplished already.

Nothing handmade looks perfect, that’s its charm 😊

She paints, she builds, she sews, she plants, she cooks. You Rosie amaze me with your mad skills. Always believe you can do it, because every week you show us you can.

Nothing gives me more joy then seeing women take on building projects with amazing skill like you. You are learning as you go. Even if it’s scary at first you get better w the more you do. I’m just always impressed and proud of you.
  • @anitavincent7447
You’re hilarious in a very subtle way, the way you look at us through the camera draws us in totally I don’t know what your window of good weather is but you certainly have enough outdoor projects to fill it, maybe your parents will come visit and help again? Rosie to say that you are one in a million would really be an understatement and I’m thrilled I came upon your channel. I’m always sad when your videos end because they fill me with awe and hope. Thank you for letting us in. 🥰🙏🏻
  • Quite understand how you feel. At 65, a single woman, for many, many years, I am always overwhelmed in Spring, the weeks of new beginnings. With new determination we start out with lots of projects to do, ones that were left from last year and the new ideas we have for this year. Don't stress, you cannot do the work of of two and taking on something new is always an experiment - growing vegetables included.

What a video, everything is there; shopping for wood, carpentry, cooking, sewing, painting, sowing seeds, modelling, nature with relaxing music; and so well edited!!
  • So I sit down with a cup of tea, looking forward to a relaxing video of Rosie renovating her front room... Congratulations Rosie, not even 45 seconds in and you managed to get my anxiety sky high. My to do list isn't even half as long and now I feel like I'm wasting my time...
