The Reformation was born as people sought to recover the biblical gospel, and in our own day there is a desperate need for men and women to return to the gospel found in Scripture. This meditation defines the gospel and exhorts us to stand fast for its truth.

    The gospel is that Christ paid for sin on the cross. Died and rose again. And whoever believes in him will be Saved. According to the scriptures

    I ALWAYS took being bilingual for granted until The LORD in HIS providence exposed me to great teachers like Dr. Sproul! I praise King Jesus for His mercy extended to me!

    This man has been such a blessing to me and so many! My Sproul experience: once I had this thought/idea to create a children's game. For some reason I wrote Dr Sproul for help. I had forgotten about it, later thinking he would never even see the letter or have time to even deal with it. He wrote me back! My level of respect was greatly heightened. My prayers are with the Sproul family! GOD bless!

    Thank you. The gospel→　Christ died for our sins. He was buried. He rose again on the third day . He was seen by the apostles.　　　　 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 We are saved just by believing in the gospel.　 Romans 1:16　Ephesians 2:8-9

    After being in and out of fundamentalist churches my whole life, this man after his death taught me the gospel.

    I sure wish I could have gotten the chance to see Brother Sproul teach in person. Thank goodness because of technology his legacy lives on.

    Amen to the simple and biblical gospel that Paul was so passionate about. That if we believe in the Lord Jesus as Scripture says we will be saved! This is a promise to all the world. Not for just a chosen few whom God chose to regenerate so that they may believe. Faith is the only requirement God demands from us. This pre supposes He gave us a free will to make real choices. I agree with much of what RC Has to say until he starts trying to sell that unbiblical TULIP which is definitely not the gospel.
