Advice from a BMW Owner. The car turns off for safety reasons (theft), if you have passengers in the car just simply scroll & press “precondition” on the screen when the car turns off. This starts the engine back up with a/c or heat, but won’t engage drive without a key present. @16:37 or you can just hold down “distance control” and save it to your shortcuts. Once saved, all you have to do is swipe down from the top of the screen and click that option. @21:00 Assistance plus doesn’t work on backroads. @21:13 just use the scroll wheel to change the gauge layout.
