The Maya Rudolph episode he mentions has long been one of my favorite episodes of television. I remember watching it live and then watching it multiple times over the next week. I Know Why the Caged Bird Laughs is incredible

Armisen writes stuff that only appeals to about 50 people but I happen to be one of them

The Pedro Pascal episode was nothing but winners. And I'm not saying that just because he's perfect and I love him.

I like that Seth is so used to his pencil in his desk that he's absent-mindedly doing weird things with that pen. Great talk.

Ive been saying this to snl haters for years. I had no idea seth said something similar. People say it was great during season xx(whenever they were fans) but i remind them they had bad episodes and bad sketches then too. You only remember the great ones and the bad ones leave no memory

Brb, gotta go rewatch the Second Chance Theatre of "Wanna Come With?" Tho tbh, Andy looming behind the frosted glass of Seth's door might be funnier 😂

I totally realize how funny Fred Armisen is.
  • @CupOfJav
Fred's comedy is more specific than most of the people on SNL and I love it. There's nobody funnier at doing nothing than Fred Armisen.

I mean, maybe this is true for Fred, though it seems like if you know your Portlandia, you've seen Fred's breathtaking range. But I feel like Andy's whole appeal is that you think it's just an obnoxious little brother type, and then literally two minutes later, he's taken that generic type and played it like goddamn Stradivarius. And you're like, "How did you even get those sounds out of this?"

I think Fred Armisen has the worst body language of nearly anyone who’s been on SNL, save for Kyle Mooney and Tim Robinson. There’s something both desperate and condescending about Fred, he could beat an average premise for a sketch to death to where each May I was hoping it’d be his final season. Hader and Sudeikis were far more versatile and entertaining

Samberg sucks, but so does Seth. I have no idea how that guy got his own late night show.
