I love all the little details in the launch trailer. Revenant popping the balloons, Loba teleporting to Valkyrie’s side when she gets hurt, all of it. I love the trailers where almost all of the legends play a part in some way.

I wholeheartedly agree with you that Newcastle is a very likable guy because his motivation is to protect, even if it means getting exposed by his sister Bangalore. The voice actor, Gabe Kunda does a WONDERFUL job of portraying that. Even Newcastle’s lines and quips in-game are some of the most wholesome and encouraging. A little backstory: before Anita entered the Apex Games as Bangalore, she was still on the run with her brother Jackson from that army, the IMC. They were on a ship that was attacked and Jackson was sucked out of the ship and presumed dead. Then Bangalore entered the games in order to find him because she wasn’t convinced he was dead. Then last season, there was an event called “The Williams Sendoff,” in which Wraith found some info for Bangalore that seemingly “confirmed” Jackson’s death. So Bangalore was going to leave the games thinking she had nothing else to fight for. Meanwhile, Jackson faked his death, left for the town called Harris Valley, and created a new identity for himself. That’s the identity we see in the “Stories from the Outlands: Hero.” Fast forward a little bit. You remember Forge, the guy that Revenant skewered in the middle of a broadcast interview? The original Newcastle (whom we call “Oldcastle”) was the runner-up to Forge, but went on a losing streak after he got outdone by Forge. That’s why the thugs were beating him up for not getting into the games. So Oldcastle got killed, and Jackson took his place and entered the games using his armor and callsign, Newcastle.

Ahhh, so happy to see this. Would definitely recommend a reaction to their voicelines/interactions between characters. The energy and charisma from newcastle is truly enjoyable to see.

Hes suuuuuuuch a dad lol, one of his lines is "Just call us butter cause we're on a roll!". Hes not my favourite legend, but his kit is surprisingly fun. I'll be interested to see where they take his character in the future!

I love how this game just keeps growing. The sibling relationship that Bangalore and Newcastle have is so funny and heartwarming. Newcastle even has a secret finish against Bangalore and Bangalore appears in Newcastle lobby animation to tease him. I wonder if their is a video compilation of all the lobby animations?

I really like that the way that bang and Newcastle kill that last specter the same way the did the pilot, nice foreshadowing

In game, you can even sense Newcastle's dad energy, one of his selection voicelines is my favorite, "If we win this one, I promise I bake a big red velvet cake". Such a dad thing to do. XD Mad Maggie on other hand, its very hard to stomach her intentions, she is a anti-villian, a bad guy with good intentions. She is still cool tho, her ability to move faster with a shotgun is a ability that was made for me!!

Theres also in game lore in which we find out that bang thought he was dead for years. Turns out he was alive and just hiding away from the imc and her

Extremely excited to see the gameplay trailer reactions! I absolutely love the cinematics for the character building, but as a player, seeing the gameplay and new stuff that comes with a season is what gets me the most hyped up personally.

I'm really loving the new season in Apex and also Newcastle is really fun to play. I always liked the defensive, support characters the most and Jackson is doing his job good that's for sure 😀

Mad Maggie also has good intentions! And she helps her teammates in her own way, for example, when Maggie is helping Lifeline get back in the fight, she says something like "Didn't that make you mad? Now unleash that rage and use it in your advantage against the enemies" and it's amazing since she actually tries to teach the legends how to use their emotions to their advantage.
