Used to haul a lot of the coils like that. In a dry van and reefer. But they were on a stand. All of them went to Hickory NC. They made springs out of them there. Forklift dropped one back in the day. Almost killed the driver standing close to his flatbed.

Use to hall those what I called stinky slinkies. I used a 12’ fiberglass painters pole. It would slide down to about a 4’ and fit in the headache rack good but didn’t weigh anything. Also I’ve been enjoying the older videos that have been coming up lately. You and Bailey stay safe and keep the rubber side down.

We used to make woven wire mesh with that wire, you have. Woven wire mesh panels, doors, gates, any shape or size, for stadiums, warehouses, jails, all over. Steel wire, stainless, aluminum and bronze/brass

You were better off staying at the Rest Area rather than the Pilot! That Pilot is not one of the better ones. And Mississippi is in the process of updating and refurbishing all of its rest areas. Come back any time. Thanks for sharing the video.
  • There once was a super trucker named Dan, Who drove through the night like a man. With his big rig in tow, He'd go to and fro, Delivering goods as fast as he can!
  • Kentucky always had nice Safe havens. use to stop at them if i knew the struck stops ahead would be full

With “Slimkies”, I always tied the first and last coils like you did, but then used strap to make an X for all others. Rides pretty good. Cryin Wire! Cheap Freight…Stay Safe
