I didn’t understand, but the reason we were having troubles was because her parents weren’t letting her go out and we would never see each other. Now, she has her phone taken away and I can’t even talk to her, I’ve stayed loyal❤️. She called me when she got her phone back for like a day. For those who don’t know, as beautiful as this song may be, the back story of it is actually pretty depressing. Delilah was actually a close friend of his for a long period of time. She claimed she didn’t know about his feelings until she heard this song on the radio. She said that this was sweet of him, BUT that she didn’t feel the same way unfortunately. During an interview, Tom quickly noted that him and Delilah are just friends, but we all know that my boii just took a huge L and was covering it up. My dude wrote you a song, which was the passed down to each radio station, heard by millions in a couple of days, hit the billboard top #100 and you still won’t even consider having at least one drink?
