What Happened.........

Hey man, about 4 1/2 years ago I emailed you about a fitness program you had out, and I had questions specifically because I was just diagnosed with cancer and had a new born son. You responded to me with absolute love and honesty when I was unsure about life, and I just want you to know that it meant the world to me and your words really, really helped me. Obviously, I’m still here and I beat what I was going thru, but I just want you to know that I am forever grateful for you for taking the time out of your day to not just send one, but several messages to a “fan” who was literally scared to death and your words really got me to essentially nut up. I know you probably get a lot of emails and may not remember me, but I just want you to know that you had a huge impact on the last 5 years of my life and I love you for it. Thank you again, and you will bounce back from your issues just as I did. Thanks again for everything.

Years ago after my first ECW show, me and my buddy were hanging outside the venue. You and Bill Alfonso walked up and spoke to me and my buddy for a solid 15 minutes. Neither of you had to, you chose to because you both cared a lot about what you did for your profession, and your fans. I never forgot that. I am really glad you're OK, infections that are sneaky like that can be a really scary thing to endure, and infection pain is something that most can't relate to, until they experience it. It really is unlike any other pain you'll experience. I am really happy to see you on the road to recovery. We're all pulling for you.

Stevie - I had no clue you went through something so horrific. This is Eric, the guy you met in Blue Ridge on that rainy Sunday morning. I will continue to send prayers up for your recovery. Whether you know it or not, the genuineness as a good human being comes through in your videos just like it did that morning to give me 5 minutes of your time as a lifelong fan on that misty Sunday morning. To this day, I still tell the story about driving by and seeing you to entertain all my work buddies and to tell everyone that meeting you out of the blue was the highlight of my wedding anniversary trip! Hope this cheers you up some and brings a smile to your face in these challenging times. God Bless you brother and get well soon.

You're one of my favorite people man, typically they say don't meet your heroes because they're never what you'd expect them to be but not you! You're a genuine down to earth guy I'm glad you're okay i hope you fully recover and use this as an experience, that's how we grow, through experience. Not sure why this video popped up on my YouTube recommendations but I'm glad it did. I'm a big fan of wrestling. Mainly a fan of the old school wrestling days, but I'm definitely knowledgeable of you and your career Stevie. I just want to say I'm glad things are improving for you. Most importantly I'm glad you put your faith in God. I pray He be with you through not just this situation but in every situation in your life. Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Keep Him first in your heart. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and fear not. I am speechless at this experience…. Im so sorry, but so inspired by your strength, your wife, and the medical professionals. I can’t get over the Mayo Clinic doctor saying he didn’t want to touch that vessel tumor because he was worried about introducing an infection… and lo and behold, there was the infection. I am watching this today Sunday, March 26, 2023, your video was on my morning list and I was concerned when I saw the post What Happened, I have been a Wrestling Fan since the 1970's and of course an ECW Fan where I got to witness your talent, I am still watching and listening to your video as I write this, I'm touched after seeing you get emotional and I can see your Faith in God, I cried along with you because of how sincere you are, we are all Brothers and Sisters under God and I am with you and Praying for a full recovery, I thank God for your Wife being there for you and others that have reached out, in closing I will say what at time we all don't say enough, I Love you my Brother Stevie and you will come back better than ever in more ways then we even realize.
