Okay so just to make this clear as people have been commenting alot thinking that because i said its a beginners guide they think its a beginners guide to warframe. This is a Beginners guide to EIDOLONS which is a MID to LATE game activity (MR15+) you cannot be Mr 6 and expect to do tridolons you are too early into the game. Yes you can do eidolons earlier than MR15 im just throwing a general number. But the point is Eidolons are a late game activity and they are a MASSIVE GEAR Check in warframe you need to have alot of mods and builds and gear to do this comfortably. I didn't make this guide with the intention of telling you to go into public lobbies and leech off randoms. i made it to equip you and give you the tools to do it all yourself so you understand this boss fight mechanically and not have to rely on anyone else

bruh i have 1.8k hours in this game and im still missing alot of this "Beginner" gear
  • My biggest problem with the game after 150 hours is how much there is to do, and so much stuff gets introduced with absolutely 0 info given once you've been 'introduced'. Unlocked Arcanes, Eidolons, Helminth, K-Drive, Archwing, Railjack but does it tell you a single thing once you've manufactured it? None. 0. I got the eidolon/arcane thing done and it's like cool go hunt eidolons now, that big thing we just told you to run from in the story mission but totally just go kill it now with 0 idea how to, where to, or anything at all.
  • A really good tip: don't solo it go in a squad let the others damage the eidolon while you take care of the lures, damage fase is easy you just need the right gear, but the charging lures is a skill that CARRIES your whole team
  • “Own everything in the game and max out every focus school” (for beginners) - Every warframe channel catered towards beginners I’ve done the teralyst and hydrolost solo with the sirocco for an amp, and I still don’t own any other amps. With a group of people with sirocco’s we’ve done the 1x3 plus a 1x2 in a night. The reason I don’t own a single other amp other than the mote and sirocco is the absolute fucking pain of attempting to get Cetus wisps. My eyes are not very good so even after watching several videos on how to farm them, I have never found a single one. The only wisps I get are from random bounty rewards
  • I'm MR25 and I have never done this. I did join few public missions for the first guy only, but it was pure chaos. Mission was done in like 2-3 minutes, which always impressed me but just now I feel like I have all the gear, I just need to understand the mechanics more. Thanks for the vid!
  • Wait…so to kill eidolons, I need maxed arcanes that drop from eidolons?!?😂
  • @magnolia8886
Been playing warframe for so many years but the one thing ive never really dedicated myself to was hunting eidolons just because it looked so tedious, better late than never ig
  • Tip: You should NOT use Eclipse when trying to Eidolon Hunt. It is barely going to add to your damage. This is because despite the number displaying that your damage bonus is high, in reality it’s just 10% of what is being displayed (so if it says 300%, you’re only getting a measly 30%). Since Eclipse factors in how much environmental lighting there is when accounting for the damage bonus, the only thing providing the bonus is the light from the moon. So, you’re really getting a weak buff and are much better off subsuming Roar, Smite (because of the augment), or Xata’s Whisper.
  • For a new eidolon hunter i would recommend to build the best possible start amp which is prob raplak. Put the best arcane on the amp and learn to qc. If you learn these things you will learn eidolons really fast. also remember to bring a vastilok/sarpa with shattering impact, removing some armor from the eidolons ramps your dmg a lot!
  • I hate that in order to have a good Eidolon hunting build, you have to do a lot of Eidolons. Like getting rank 5 common arcanes without trading for them is just way too big of an ask, assuming you don’t have a good build to begin with.
  • @Geltance
As a returning player... That's pretty damn complex 🤣 but thanks
  • As a casual hunter, myself I found good success with an amp of any kind, Madurai's actives and a Voidrig built for its Arquebex. I found I don't need any other kit and with no knowledge on how to efficiently charge lures I get consistent 3x3. I'm sure I can push to 4x3 and some change if I can get myself to remember the whole quick charge thing, mostly because the rest are smaller optimizations that do lose the necramech for faster repositioning meaning bothering to bring the right frame and weapon instead of having it all stuffed into your loadout slots and focus, and overall you need an overcaffeinated playstyle which is just not my kind of comfort food. I am confident a player who wants to do casual eidolon hunts can do the minimum farming required for focus and a necramech and solo at least 2x3s or kill a whole bunch of teralysts per night to get started with quills for reputation.

Yes!!! As a new player, I was looking for something exactly like this in ‘23. Keep them coming baby
  • @ROCKYSBOY
Finally the best beginners guide…someone explaining the elements that will be used and then explaining the mechanisms. There is no real beginner guide as truthfully you do need a lot of progression to get this stuff but at least this shows where and how to get each element. Great Job bro 😎

I don't like hitting the thumbs down button without offering the creator an explanation: While there is useful information here, this guide fails to deliver as advertised. As a beginner to Eidolons (not to the game, I'm MR16, I just never engaged with the content until recently), the big takeaway for me was "pay to win." Instead of outlining a gameplay path to success, you jumped straight to "lol just buy the stuff you need to hunt Eidolons or else you're going to have a bad time." Another YT search yielded a video half as long as this one that actually DID help me as a beginner without glossing over the fact that a lot of the stuff you recommend for a "beginner" loadout requires farming Eidolons to obtain. Despite how discouraged I was by this guide, I capped my first Teralyst with (non prime) Rhino, Rubico Prime, and a 1-2-2 amp. I appreciate the effort that went into this video, and I don't regret watching it, but "beginners" would be best served looking elsewhere. Maybe come back to this video later.
  • Been really enjoying your videos. It's nice to have a YouTuber that shows a humble positive perspective on Warframe. Hope you get the exposure you deserve 👊
  • @2MileHighTsunami
The warframe you choose doesn't matter. Grab a Lure or two. Fill it up if you can before engaging the Eidolon, otherwise capture the Sentients that spawn near it. Alternate between Operator to strip the Eidolon's shields, when it flashes red, hop into your Voidrig's Guardmode and pop one of the Eidolon's limbs. It only takes two hits. Tank the five magnetic bursts and pop back out into Operator mode and repeat until the Eidolon is dead.
  • This is really great information that I found very helpful. However, why call this a beginners guide when they're not going have these mods and arcanes let alone have Helminth Chrysalis abilities. The comment below of "Don't solo it, find an experienced team to assist" is the best beginner advice.
