Your spot on bro. my bro bought one because I have one, tricked it out with after market (lift/tires etc etc) then got rid of it becasue of "not enough space" and "too loud". dont buy these vehicles as an impulse buy. My 2021 EcoD Overland is at 43K with no issues. Maintenance.

I just bought a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon for one reason and one reason only. So that I can take my grandkids for rides in the summer with the roof off to get ice cream. People may think I’m an idiot who wasted money, but at the end of the day it’s my money and I don’t care.

You really nailed the truth, if you never take a Jeep gladiator or wrangler off-road, with few other exceptions……..don’t buy a Jeep! The popularity of Jeep for showboating has destroyed the brand pricing for those of us who are off-road middle class! They stay in hotels, we stay off grid!

Life is short. So it should be about smiles per mile. It doesn't look like every other midsize truck out there. To me it gives a big middle finger to the competition. Just once I would love to see the bigger Youtube channels compare the Gladiator with the doors and roof off against all the other brands on the trail or beach.

Everyone trade in your noisy creeky Gladiators and flood the market so I can afford to buy one!
  • @DUNEATV
Owned a 2021 Rubicon and now a 2024 Rubicon and the “fun factor” far outweighs any of the vehicles so called faults. (None for me) Too many great things to list in a YouTube comment! Buy one!

Really like my low option 2023 hardtop Mojave. It's a great hunting truck. I don't have an issue with wind and tire noise (all-terrain tires) and the ride is acceptable. Minimal wandering for a solid axle truck. This is my 8th truck and it's unparalleled off-road. I wouldn't buy it for travel but it might be the best Gladiator trim for doing that. I'd prefer an integral steel roof if I had the choice. There's no other truck quite like it. Mine pretty much stays dirty ha ha

Yes. Everything you said is why I have a 4runner Off Road.
  • Noise ? I don`t get that part but it`s ok . I am owner of Cadillac xt5 and Sierra Denali . Both super quiet but my Gladiator also don`t making any noise or weird sounds. I absolutely love it and recommend it to every outdoor Person .
  • @jaredmeche6325
Road noise and solid front axle(at least in last couple years or gladiator) are completely blown out of proportion on the internet. You're completely right on don't bother if you have no intention of going off-road. That being said, quite a few of the competition might have offroad capability, but weren't really built to come back the same truck after going offroad.

“Spiny Brush” 😂 no vehicle is cleaned properly in an automatic car wash. The only guarantee. Using one of them is your paint will be destroyed.
  • @boboakley5029
Love my gladiator Rubicon 2023, 35” tires I don’t get good gas mileage 😂
  • @yrrah89
Opps, i just bought this truck yesterday 😂. Great video!
  • @gksmith5072
Any criticisms of the Gladiator can be answered with one statement. Show me another off road capable convertible truck to compare it to.
  • Your Gladiator is awesome! Found a great deal on new 2024 JEEP Gladiator Mojave X Anvil color (replaced Sting Gray, cooler color). Traded yesterday. Love all the upgrades in 2024. Feels amazing being back home in Jeep. Mojave suspension is so much fun on daily driving roads. 10K off sticker price and nearly even trade on 2024 RAM 1500 Limited Black Night Edition had. Couldn't pass this up. Lowered my payments too from those high-priced luxury 1500's by $200. Granted RAM's HEMI V8 is very nice on highway cruising, passing power. Don't miss the RAM Limited Air suspension either, lots of maintenance high mileage. Pentastar V6 in our JEEPS does job just fine. Better gas prices for regular vs Octane 89 for RAM.

Something I NEVER see on reviews of Gladiators or Wranglers are on the hardtops you most definitely will have moments where water will get through the freedom panels. I live in Florida and those freak heavy rainstorms will push water through the seals. I have 15k on my Mojave and it happens from time to time. Also, if you remove the tops it will also inevitably happen. Maybe a bit of sand or leaf got in between the seals. Maybe you didn't put them back on exactly like you're supposed to. One way or another you will get water in the cab at some point. Welcome to owning a Jeep lol

Thank you for the very informative video. Looking at getting my first Jeep. One thing that puzzles me is when I read a forum on the discussion of the possible dry start due to what some claim to the oil filter being dry at start up, someone who sounds very knowledgeable will say something as to the design of the motor and there is NO dry start and the next person says that there is and the next will say oh they just want you to buy their product to keep the oil in the filter. So with all of that said, who truly knows the answer to people that may be worried about it?
  • Im considering an overlanding vehicle built on this platform. Everything so far says it is very capable with some suspension mods. Thanks for the truth in your description.

The reason why I love my JKU, It reminds me of the days of old. It has all I need and nothing I don't. I don't off road as much as I would like. But I love the fact of the capabilities. Life is too short to drive boring vehicles.
