USA Wrexham fan here. It’s not just EFL broadcasts getting a bump. I am here watching this from across the pond because of Wrexham.
-
'I don't like to bring people down' may be the funniest thing Jordan has ever said
-
Wrexham fan here, no one who supports the town thinks we are anywhere near as big a club as Leeds or any number of other big clubs outside the Prem ( the list is a long one). We could be as big as Bournmouth or Brentford if we were very lucky but just being back in the league with great owners is a dream compared to the 16 years in Non league we just had.
-
Wrexham ( and Ryan and Rob) living rent free in Simons head. Jealousy is a hell of a drug!!!!
-
Bit unfair on Rob McElhenney, Reynolds is the cheque book but McElhenny leads their partnership in the Wrexham project. He might not be known in the uk that well, but hes well known in the states, where he was part of the longest running sitcom series in the U.S. He was the driving force with that & also with Wrexham.
-
Bet Disney are fuming that they keep advertising a netflix documentary about wrexham when it's actually on Disney 😂😂
-
100% it’s all McElhenney and Reynolds. Over here in the states, I did not know anything about Wrexham or the lower leagues except the Championship during promotion. Now,I follow Wrexham and look forward on the team’s rise to the Premier league
-
Jordan ran Palace into the ground. Makes out he was Roman Abramovich
-
Simple Simon. Jealousy is a horrible thing. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
-
He'll praise boehly to high heaven yet slaggs off the Wrexham lads, who have and are doing a great job.
-
Love how a man that mis-managed Crystal Palace feels he can speak so confidently about others in football.
-
It's hilarious seeing the jealousy in Simon Jordan and it's so obvious he has to admit it, how he struggles to give credit when it's due is beyond me
-
I usually only watch World Cup and euro cup. I follow Wrexham. Signed up for espn plus to watch their game.
-
I’m a stateside Premier League fan that barely knows a thing about the lower leagues (except that MLS needs the like) but I pay attention to Wrexham because of Reynolds.
-
What ever it takes to get more investment in the EFL is a good thing we have to stop historic clubs going bust and if Hollywood celebrities promoting English football in America and helping to get better deals bring it on.
-
Yes somebody sounds like a really jealous type. Not only that he's causing to question Ryan's integrity and robs because they will be here to the bitter end. They're not in abandoning this project ever.
-
Rob and Ryan have definetly raised the profile of the EFL and welcome to Wrexham doc has also raised the profile of the EFL internationally. The popularity of the EFL was happening before Rob and Ryan took over, look at attendences of clubs like Stockport or even Salford over the years have had successes in their own right. The fact that Rob and Ryan also choose a random club in the national league at the time was quite the story as people were pretty much asking why. The documentary really gave an insight to the national league and EFL.

I never heard of talk sports until Wrexham and because you cover them 😂 so talk about biting the hand that feeds you
-
Wow from Canada. Don't know this guy but he's harshing my buzz. Is he really this miserable ?
-
Jordan "I'm not like the British people that like to bring people down, I like to praise people for what they actually do rather than give them more credit that they are entitled to". Really, Simon?
