Amazing stuff, love what you’re doing! The TV show got me hooked years ago. Glad to see you’re still at it. Seems like you thought of everything, right up until the rocket hookup. Lots of ways to make that a break away quick connect so you don’t have to fumble with alligator clips in the middle of a chase.
  • @brandiwynter
LOL, Reed sounds like a crazy person when he laughs.
  • @grimscriven
The last thing a tornado hears is the sound of Reed's laughter.

I would have lost my mind learning about this thing at 12 years old. I mean I'm kind of losing my mind now learning about it and I'm 39. This is so very awesome.
  • @Thrillrider10
I remember watching the first season of your show on Discovery when I was still in school. Glad to know you're still doing so much incredible work to better understand these storms.
  • Couldn't be more true. Still can't believe we have a stand alone sequel after 27 years now. Twister 1996 was what I grew up up with.
  • Nothing short of amazing! I incorporated your live chases for the last 10 yrs or so into our homeschool curriculum and all 5 kids are grown now Reed. You are making a difference in generations!!
  • @apexkilla
I like how the ground spikes counterproductively raise the vehicle back up
  • @RealTrashPanda
so if I understand this correctly, you guys came up with a miniature version of Twisters "Dorothy". Twister got me interested in Tornados, and here seeing Dorothy fly for real, so to speak, is absolutely amazing! and then there is that mean uparmored F-350, hot damn! keep up the great work Reed!
  • Godspeed Reed. Thanks for taking us along! How many of us wish we could be in that 4th seat in the Dominator?
  • @Pollitodc5
This channel has a large following but I feel this channel is at beginning numbers! Thank you for what y’all do!!
  • @WastedThyme
Just discovered this channel and am so glad I did! This speaks to the kid in me who is fascinated by this kind of applied, practical science. I wish I had the opportunity to work with you or engage in this kind of work. Alas, I live in south central Canada where there has never been a tornado of note… such is life. Thankfully I can live vicariously through you!

Congratulations she looks ready for the job ahead of her. Kudos to you and your team.
  • From all the places it could have landed, it landed on a lawn of a church. You guys are blessed. This is awesome on so many levels, and the coolest video I've seen in a long time! Inspiring, exciting, and super cool! Good luck to ya'll on the tornados hunt. You're the kind of people that make humanity go forward. Much love and respect!
  • @caseygroves3046
I love that you can imagine Reed as a kid watching Twister and knowing exactly what he's gunna do with the rest of his life.
  • I watched the Premier on my phone and just had to watch it again on my laptop when I got home. The production of this video is just genius. The team was able to show and demonstrate the awesomeness of the Dominator 3 in a concise way. It's clear that everyone involved has produced a sophisticated and incredible machine built on learning from past endeavors. Brian was able to capture all the detailed information along with Reed & Team's passion for the chase. Great job! Never stop chasing.
  • @olsonspeed
You have come a long way since the original vehicle, creative, next level engineering, the perfect tool for twister research and those occasional visits to LA.
  • @mikegrizzle3014
Always thought this guy was crazy as hell but the laughter seals the deal! Best of luck! Yall hiring drivers because I think the crazy may be contagious.
