Finally managed a sub-42 run! Shout outs to Akitaka1 for the Karajan skip, which shaves some 2-3 minutes off compared to the previous world record run.
This is the NG No-OoB Obake category. That means new game, as opposed to new game +; no out of bounds (in short, don't clip through walls); and full stealth, no kills and no gunshots (Obake), except for bosses and "accidents" (if the score screen says you're good, you're good). Due to the current low level of competition in this game, this is also the current world record in the NG No-OoB category.
There's room for at least a minute of improvement in this run, but unfortunately there's not much competition in this game right now. Come join us [1] and take the world record from me if you can. Yes, that's a challenge - it took me less than a month from playing the game for the first time to grabbing my first world record; you can do it too. I'll be waiting.
