  • something that helps me a lot, Rusty, is that I tend to find that I just want something "more interesting" to drink than say, water or juice. Pounding a case of sparkling water every night REALLy helped me alleviate beer cravings cause mentally it almost registers like the same thing. Just something that helped me, no idea if you've tried it.

    As the series that inspired me to try and stay clean on my sleep schedule, It has since been a good... 17? 18 days since I saw your first 3 day sober video? And since then, I managed to go 2 whole weeks with a consistent sleep schedule. Bed at 2am, wake up at 11am. 7-9 hours at the same time each night, and if I woke up early that meant I had so much more time in the day to just... do things. Almost a week ago now I uploaded a video I spent several hours editing. And it is by far the best one I've put out to date, I feel so confident now because I want to continue making more of that type of content, now that I've found what I want to actually produce on this platform, and not only that having people who genuinely enjoyed and watched the stuff I produced. The good sleep is what kept me sharp enough to be able to make that video in the first place. Unfortunately, it's not all good. Like how you were tempted with that one drink Rusty, the last couple of nights I've been slipping. Started when I accidentally stayed up till 6am, and ever since then my circadian rhythm has been out of whack. I hope to fix it tonight though, I don't plan on beating myself up over this because the longer and more often I stay consistent, the easier it will be for me to just not stay up too late. Thanks for these videos Rusty. You're a great inspiration. Now that I'm starting from day 1 again, let's hope I can break 2 weeks this time eh?

    4:11 Well, Mr.Cage, I'd have to say you nailed that proprietary 'thumbs forward' pistol grip extremely well, especially when you think of yourself as a man who isn't too familiar with firearms and hasn't shot much. Good job.
