this is the way i envisioned this should go but the other vids i've seen pull the tape up after 1 cut.. then put the tape back down and manage to get a good cut... or run 3 different lines all freehand and somehow come out with a precision outcome.

Thanks for this demo dude, as I am gonna wrap my beautiful 12 string guitar body !

Man I’m just imagining wrapping the entire car like this…. There would be SOOO many frickin lines all over your car!

Simple yet affective

Aha - A little heat before and after and I just made my first ever perfect seam ! SO COOL !!! - I'm wrapping an old bike frame which is a nightmarish collection of curves and angles. This elimiates having a small overlap seam that while hidden from normal view - will normally peal at the small overlap edge, pick up dust or dirt, peel back a bit further . . .etc . . . This is so much better ! 😉

I’ve had some solid results using a laser line level when marking my joint lines , might be worth a shot as they are pretty cheap . However your work looks pretty dang clean so may not do much for ya

Maybe you can tell in person, but watching on YouTube I cannot see the seem at all. Nice 👍
