  • She is mainstream but at the same time she doesn’t have a major fanbase
  • When she collaborated with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, people make it seem like it’s their song but they were featured for her. She is so underrated and overlooked. People sleep on her.

Jessie’s one major problem is marketing and branding. she changes up her image but no matter what she changes it to she always looks like something that is already been done by someone else. She looks like Katy Perry at one point she looked like Pink at one point, But her visual branding was never unique

I definitely feel like a part of what held her back was her lack of an artistic identity. She’s super talented but distinctiveness is extremely important in the industry I think

I sang for her at the Royal Albert Hall, and she was soo sweet about it even though I was so nervous. She wasn't allowed to talk because it was the day of her show so she needed vocal rest, but she typed instead, absolutely hilarious woman frrr. Also aid she really loved my voice which has motivated me to this day, one of the most genuine people in the industry for sureee
  • I guess the problem is she hasn’t really established her image as an artist and the lack of her artistic. Also another problem was she was lined up with the pop stars era which Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and so on. dominates the music industry.

Jessie j and Leona Lewis are some of the most underrated singers in the world and they are both from the UK💚

It sucks because shes not only lyrically and vocally talented but also smart and beautiful but i dont think labels know or want to learn how to market her. Maybe its because of how out spoken she is or how much she wants to be in control? Idk but she could have been an artist similar to p!nk mixed or Christina Aguilera. Damn.

Definitely waiting for her “A Star is Born” moment...

She's literally one of the most talented artists ever. Her voice is powerful and her songwriting skills are soooo underrated.

To everyone who hasn’t seen her performance in “Singer” a competition in China is missing out big time! She deserve more 😭
  • @20coldhearts
The best vocalists are often underrated. Remember Jojo, Tori Kelly, Jazmine Sullivan? They almost have the same singing style
  • Honestly if you’re an artists coming from the UK or really any other country it is extremely difficult to “make it” in the US. Same goes for artists from the US it’s difficult to “make it” in European territories.

Finally someone talked about how underrated she is
  • she needs to focus on making songs that showcase her vocals more. have yall heard her on that asian competition? she got PIPES. she should show it more instead of the usual safe pop songs
