I remember when I lived in North Wales when I was about 18 yrs I would go to my mates and listen to Slade Live many times, a great band

Love listening to this man ! no ego and straight down to Earth .... Slade made some Fantastic music , made a lot of people happy....... an English institution , it would,nt be the same without them , keep going man Superb !🙂

Great to see Dave doing well. Slade made some of the very best music at the time and still hear them quite often and at Christmas of course, see Noddy in the press as well and so pleased to see this video, well done Dave, keep up the great work matey!

Slade were amazing and one of the most exciting bands I’ve seen! They made great songs which sometimes people forget their catalogue! Met Dave in the Cotswolds, had a go on the guitar he was playing - great down to earth man!

Good old Dave. Saw him playing in Brighton about 7 years ago. Great bloke and a supurb guitarist to boot.

I was and still am a huge Marc Bolan & T.REX fan, Slade were the rivals back in the 70's....great times, happy days...and Dave Hill one of our legends! - :)

Dave your a legend,i grew up with Slade,i still have my signed album,Old New Borrowed and Blue from back in the day,i remember when Slade were on TOTP,early 70s,my Grandad had a fit,said they looked like four yobs on their way to the dole office,but Slade were the most incredible band to rock the pop world.Dave keep rocking,if Cliff can do it at 83,you can do it just as good.

I still have the 7" single of Merry Xmas Everybody from when it first came out. Wonderful to see Dave Hill acting 30 years younger than he is.

Could never understand how Slade Never got traction this side of the pond. ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED this Band!

Do you know what Dave I'm still talking about a gig slade done in Hastings about 7 years ago ,I loved it ,don't know where you get the energy ,the way you worked that stage ,and will always play slates music ,but just one thing it's not Christmas till NODDY says so ,it's christmas🎉 by the way the suit you wore was amazing
