When and Where did Abraham see Jesus? John 8:56-58 [Sam Shamoun]

Published 2020-08-07
Sam explains John 8:58 to a former Jehovah's Witness and is overwhelmed with joy as he listens to Sam's precise and irrefutable interpretation.

John 8:58 NKJV
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Acts 7:2 NKJV
And he said, “Brethren and fathers, listen:
The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran,

Exodus 6:2‭-‬3 NKJV
And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord . I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them.

John 8:37‭-‬40 NKJV
“I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.” They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did not do this.

John 1:1 NKJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:18 NKJV
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

Genesis 15:1‭-‬6 NKJV
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” But Abram said, “Lord God , what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!” And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed in the Lord , and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

I'm not really a fan of how Sam sometimes communicates, but this is indeed very impressive.

Sam you are a true soldier of Yeshua Messiah. I never saw to argue on this like you presented it. Our Heavenly Father revealed this to you. Glory be to God.

  • The Angel of the Lord who stop Abraham sacrificing his son Isaac is Jesus Christ when he still did not become human.

GENESIS 18TH CHAPTER The Son of Promise 1. The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. 2. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. 3. He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. 4. Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. 5. Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your waynow that you have come to your servant." "Very well," they answered, "do as you say." 6. So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. "Quick," he said, "get three seahs of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread." 7. Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it. 8. He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree. 9. "Where is your wife Sarah?" they asked him. "There, in the tent," he said. 10. Then one of them said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son." Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. 11. Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. 12. So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, "After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?" 13. Then the LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Will I really have a child, now that I am old?' 14. Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son."

Genesis 18:1 The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Genesis 18:2 Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. Genesis 18:3 He said, "If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Genesis 18:4 Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree. Genesis 18:5 Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way —now that you have come to your servant." "Very well," they answered, "do as you say." Genesis 18:6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. "Quick," he said, "get three seahs of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread." Genesis 18:7 Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it. Genesis 18:8 He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree. (Jesus is the representation of God in flesh. Nobody can see the face of God Almighty otherwise we will die. Jesus is God in flesh who can show himself to mankind as a man. He was the LORD that visited Abraham in Mamre).
