South Sudan with zero NBA players took them all the way to the final buzzer, and they scraped past the world champions Germany. In this video we breakdwon the historic game in London vs South Sudan and analyse what happened and how South Sudan were able to compete, USA only won because of LeBron James.

  • South Sudan where playing like a final from the start which the U.S. weren't, today's game was more of a serious U.S. team then the one in the South Sudan game

This game was amazing. Please make more breakdowns like this throughout the Olympics (assuming copywrite doesn't mess with you).

As an American, I am glad to see the game grow and having more competitive teams outside of the Americas and Europe. I do agree however that this game should not have been close and Embiid got clowned defensively a lot of the game
  • @OnlyJerico
they not ready, the other teams been playing for each other a long time. They know how to play together. usa players gotta figure out their roles asap, they're not playing effectively
  • I’m not that worried given that South Sudan were making miracle shots against a USA team that probably and arrogantly thought they’d stomped them in an exhibition game. But every country is giving it their all against USA given their the star power, but even in a game they didn’t play great. They still managed to clutch up and honestly beat the better team that day. I do have concerns with the defense alongside the turn overs but despite the flaws that these 5 exhibition exhibited. I think we’ve yet to see the best of them so I’m not especially worried yet about their victory. Can’t wait to see Durant back though

"They're not ready" proceeds to win all games in scrimmage

Team USA is going to be just fine. These tune-ups featuring a bunch of old men trying to leave something in the tank for the medal games are fun but it ain't a problem.

1st off the Best players didn't get to go they are missing a lot of players because of politics and some of the ones who are there should have stayed home!, 2nd the coach steve kerr is a problem hes a weak coach who thinks they are all NBA players they will figure it out. thier whole style of play is outdated when it comes to EURO BBall, and 3rd the USA team are weak in pride. they are all playing as if its the 1st round of the playoffs. and 4th they still think they can play a mutated version of NBA basketball and survive off of shear athleticism .

Games like these are why I'm in love with the sport of basketball. A team can have all the talent in the world still and get outmatched by pure determination, hustle, and heart. Who doesn't love a good underdog story? Outstanding display from South Sudan, who have put the world on notice🤝

Lol us smoking the competition. The argument should be who's getting silver
  • @GrumpyCat-mw5xl
USA was acting like every time they dunked the ball they won the game.
  • @vanillathunder3024
Embiid is playing like he doesn’t even care. Get him out of there already
  • @danmijs8383
Also be reminded quoting Stephen A. "South Sudan has no indoor basketball court and just got independence only around 2011"... plus i must reiterate, South Sudan should have gotten 2 free-throw shot as Edwards was foul...

We out here stuggling against the equivalent of D1 level teams compared to us. This is outright embarrassing no matter how people try to frame it. Look at who we have on this team! Where is the heart and the grit?! And it's not disrespectful to want this super loaded team to take it to the competition!! We're Amazon not a mom & pop shop!!!
  • @logicalbrother
These NBA stars are use to playing 35 minutes a game...they can't catch a rythme.Steph and LeBron only playing 21 minutes
  • I was just thinking that individually they’re great players but that doesn’t always equate to a good team
  • @RenaAnn-qf2wh
Until we're ready to talk about Jrue Holiday we ain't talking true X factor, defensive stopper, timely shot maker, can create and facilitate, is one of the longest veterans playing. He's played with Iverson as a rookie cmon man pure legend and that's real longevity. He gets better with time. Hasn't slowed down defensively and is always All-NBA competitor...instead ESPN glazes LeBron day and night.
