no matter how talkie or lengthy the contents may be, as long as the topic is as interesting and informative as this, I donā€™t give a damn! plus klaro pa jud mo explain si sir slater, way lipud-lipod! šŸ¤£šŸ‘
  • Am already nearing the end of our house construction when I saw your videos. Have I watched them first, I should have avoided countless sleepless nights and headaches. This is superb, Slater. Kudos to you. I learn so much. For my next house, I already have these tips from you. Youā€™re heaven-sent! Thank you. :)
  • Architect here, Thank you Sir Slater! sa mga nagtatanong, usually pag naghihire kayo ng Architect may option ang client kung DADS-Detailed Architectural Design Services , meaning Architect lang hinihire nyo ,or DAEDS-Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design Services which pag hinire nyo si Architect, si Architect narin ang maghahanap ng team of Engineers para sa inyo :D
  • I always like Engr slater Young how he always acknowledge the value of architects and other professionals behind the construction fieldsšŸ„°
  • Very well said! "Client's budget will always define the plan and house finished" And thank you sir for always giving value to Architects (us)! Sanaol ganyan mindset :D

As an Architect, I appreciate this kind of content so much. Let's be honest, Architect and some Civil Engineers in the Philippines are not in good terms due to some Engrs whose been claiming that they could also plan and design a building which make clients think that is is ok which is not, for it is not their forte and it is illegal. Architects spent 7yrs minimum to be a Licensed Architect (5yrs in college and 2yrs apprentice before we can take the board exam) to master our field which is planning and designing (di lang po to drawing drawing), while Civil Engineers spent 5yrs min to be a Licensed CE and master their field which is "structural" designing. Glad to watch a content from a very influential Civil Engineer who discuss how and what it should be. EVERYTHING STARTS WITH AN ARCHITECT!
  • Thank you for this Engr, you forgot to talk about the estimated rate of professionals working on the proj. . And also thank you for giving an emphasize about the roles of other professionals. So many people approaching me to design the house architecturally, but they dont want to hire me as an engineer, and wanted to leave how it should be build to the foreman,. and that is so frustating that they only want archi plans, floor plans, elev, not an strutural plan,. .

A very informative and comprehensive "lecture", giving emphasis on the basics (details on how to start the project like concept on the design, manpower involved, etc...) For a layman, it has given a better understanding on the procedure and the pros and cons and finally the right choice... Thanks!

"Mas madali mag bura sa drawing, kesa mag tibag sa construction." Same experience mas maganda mahaba ang process ng concepts to for construction drawing, para all smooth pag nag coconstruction na, less sakit sa ulo. And also lets educate each other client and professionals kung sino ba ang right person to talk with this kind of discussion. Hoping na mag level up ang professionals like Architects and Engineers dito sa pilipinas.
  • pwede po ba sa next video gawin nyo pong outro ā€œSee you sLATERā€ šŸ˜šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
  • As an Architecture student, I appreciate this a lot! This would in the progress of the future Philippines where professionals work together in harmony and teamwork. Also another work of an architect is the anthropometrics, ergonomics, choose of materials in finishes, room temperature, orientation and the balance of environment inside spaces. Thank you Engr.
