I'm here just for Jim. He is a genius. He deserves an Oscar for make laugh to whole world for more than 20 years.

Anyone else here on a Jim Carrey binge?
  • @lucho8841
Jim Carrey was incredibly snubbed. His performance in The Truman Show was amazing.

“It’s an honor just to be nom-- oh, god…” that delivery kills me. He’s a comedic genius.

The only actor in the world who can fool other actors and keep them guessing whether he is serious or joking.Jim Carrey is above oscars for me.
  • @foxygirl1977
I still feel that Jim Carrey was robbed for Man on the Moon and The Truman Show. Two of his best performances ever.
  • "Winning the Oscar is not the most important thing in the world. It's an honor just to be nom..." It takes huge guts to make a joke about yourself. Ladies and Gentlemen, he has never been even NOMINATED !
  • @nuke2625
Jim needs an Oscar just for his existence alone.
  • @theayushhhhhhh
Jim Carrey deserves an Oscar just for this performance.
  • @MDkid1
How come Carrey has never hosted the oscars? I mean, I know the show would be about 6 hours long....but WHO CARES!!?!?!
  • @dante_ele
0:51 Even his breath of air gets a laugh and an applaud.

Once again, nobody cares about the win. It was Jim’s moment.

Can't really argue with Jim here. He was snubbed for sure.
  • Jim got more than an Oscar. Like Robin Williams, he's touched hearts of millions and brought back laughter in our lives which I think will last longer than any Oscar award.
  • @Zifflebanger
Rare example of actual comedic talent, room full of ‘stars’ realizing that he’s got something they could never learn.
  • As an Italian, I am proud that Benigni and La Vita è Bella won those Oscars. But to be fair, Jim Carrey not having even been nominated for The Truman Show was a robbery. And it takes a lot of courage to go at the most important ceremony in cinema industry and joke about yourself, knowing that they would actually laugh at you.
