You should do what’s best for you. You might be worried about your channel and all that but what attracts me to this channel is not your hair but the love you have for your hair and the pride you take in your locs. If you’re doing something you don’t necessarily feel like doing it’s going to kill that vibe. But whatever you choose just keep doing you and always prioritize what makes you happy! 👍

You can keep your dreads and when you start your dreads on the back of your head, you can let all your dreads grow and once in a while cut/trim the dreads on top of your head and maintain them with a certain length so the undercut dreads will catch up with them
  • Let’s say your locs are 18 inches, cut half them 9 inches and crochet them to the back, bam, even locs!

Use the loc extensions on the back

If you do that i dont think your hair will survive because all of the dye....that hair i think is going to break of and that is more then half of your dreads
  • I combed out my dreads of 2 years it was hard to let go at first but I feel like it was worth it in the end
  • Tbh I thought think you should what you think is best but not gonna lie he had my heart racing in the beginning 😂😂😂
  • Also when combing out your dreads if u do decide to do it use a thick conditioner and water on the dread so u save more hair from breakage

Just let the back grow and continue to have patience because your hair grows super fast anyways, I support any decision you make 💯💯💯
  • Since I’ve started my loc journey everyone wants to comb their locs out. Ugh this isn’t healthy for my journey😅 ima stick to people who won’t do this. I was about to unsubscribe fr 😭😭😩 glad I kept watching

Is there a way to dye synthetic dread extensions?
  • Not even gon lie bruh. I’m 4 years locced & tryin to regrow a lil bit of the dreads I had on my crown. They’re growing now but not fast. Your chillin with your dreads & how many you have. In my opinion I would tell you to not even grow those dreads in the back because it will take time & your main dreads will always be gettin longer. It’s better to have all the dreads you already have in place rather than tryin to grow in a unnoticeable place like the back of your head where it’s already covered when your hairs down. You like havin ya locs up so a clean cut all around your locs would probably make you feel better about your appearance. In my case I have to grow mine cuz the dreads I lost were apart of the original appearance if anything of what I said made sense😂
