In my mind, they're together.

But when Riley pushes Maya in the room, Josh is shocked but happy to see Maya, it's only when he sees Riley that he realizes, 'crap they should not be here'

Maturing is realising that Josh is big W for waiting to let Maya grow up and explore the world before getting together - 3 years may not seem like a lot in later years, but at highschool its very icky for a college student to be dating a highschooler/ middleschooler, it can get illegal fast… so no matter how much I loved them together, Im so glad the show made the long game couple and Josh had the self control to put his feelings aside for the well being of Maya. He’s genuinely such a nice guy

The lodge episode will always be my favorite. When Josh admits, he likes Maya.

and you know what? Hypothetically, when she become 18 in the future, 3 years of difference will mean nothing!

There should be a reunion or spinoff w everyone being older. Maybe Maya and Riley after college or maya and farkle since sabrina and corey are best friends in RL. And hopefully josh could pop up back in the picture.

I'm telling u: maya and riley went to a univeristy together. maya and josh tried to date but it didn't work out and he moved away for work. so maya had her crazy college life while riley was keeping her grounded. after graduating, maya became an artist. she was presenting one of her pieces at a gallery and josh showed up (he came back to new york to work and read that she was displaying her work at the gallery). he saw maya for the first time in a while (with that long, i-still-love-you movielike look, when the whole event was almost over). they went out to catch up, that's when they realized they both grew up, and the circumstances have changed so they started dating, got married and now they live happily ever after in new york together. the end.

I know people consider this pairing problematic, but since they kept it innocent, and it's really not a grossly large age gap, I do genuinely like his pairing. Would be nice to get a quick follow up video now that they're all older so we could see them together. I wanted Riley with Farkle, and I wanted Maya with Josh.

I love how Corey is on Maya's side with this. He's not weirded out by this relationship AT ALL. He's just pleasantly amused by these two crazies.

I used to watch this show with my wife and our youngest son. He loved it and I grew to love it. I used to watch Boy Meets World years ago and loved it too. I hated it when they cancelled the show, but it laid the groundwork for -- if they would do it -- could be the best "...Meets World" show of them all -- a series about these two grown up and rediscovering each other. It has a built in title already created... "The Long Game." Grown up show, grown up characters. And these two could easily carry it.

in the last episode of boy meets world cory is telling baby josh how he hopes one day he’ll find someone as amazing as topanga. maya is josh’s topanga and no one can convince me otherwise
