Not gonna lie, this song definitely feels like a fever dream, and yet I think it works

It’s definitely unique but I’m seeing their direction for this album grow on me the more I listen to nobody and we love you. Hyped for the full release.
  • I really like the wierd almost prog style they've adopted since Brookes was brought on, really feels like they're trying to evolve as a band and just try whatever they want, and I really appreciate that.
  • @Jawn..
The beginning sounds like he was just scrolling through vocal plugins
  • The more I listened to the song the more that it grew on me. Being a big Mr. Bungle fan I’m pretty used to the jarring changes but I get why it’s not for everyone. Also having heard the whole album early the singles make way more sense when listening to the full thing.
  • So far, both songs have taken me several listens to really grasp, but I'm starting to really like it. Very different from what I was expecting
  • @MrLodeus
I love the sort of ASMR guitar part at the end
  • When Shadows said they took inspiration from Kanye, he meant they made songs like how Ye schizo-posts online and tries to thread them together. More seriously, i kinda dig the song with multiple listens. It's not one I'd go out of my way to listen to, but id probably love it live. I can appreciate they're experimenting though. They've always had diverse influences so it's cool to see it show through more rather than just make the same thing over and over again.

I’ve never seen someone pause the video 5 million times in 20 mins, lay off the caffeine
  • A7X is my favorite band and its definitely interesting to see them try something so different. I feel like this is a song that'll grow on me over time
  • My theory (though I could be wrong) is that it’s a commentary about the hyperconsumerism that we have nowadays, especially with companies trying to be more relatable to their consumer base, like Wendy’s roasts and so on. These companies act as if they are human and they are relatable, but they’re only trying to sell their products to the masses by cow towing to current trends, like corporate shills on TikTok (more power, more speed).

The most interesting band at the moment, this album could change the metal music scene in a good way. Can’t wait for June 2nd.

I've been listening to them for many years. Didn't even know they released new music. Thanks
  • oh yea they are now mixing syfy trip into metal, definitely going the right direction,. they are now breaking barriers and stepped out of the box such a risk to take with fans. I almost want to say that this album may become their best album. We wait and see a yr from now.

Its one hell of a bizarre song

Warner Music: We need a single! Avenged Sevenfold: “Nobody” Warner Music: No no no, we need a single! Avenged Sevenfold: “We Love You”
  • I felt like I was having a stroke when I first heard this song

I like, its a wild ride. If it randomly came on and its your 1st time hearing it you cant really jam to it but once you kinda learning where those break neck transitions are, i can vibe to it.

I like the styles changing mid song but I believe the transitions between them could be longer and more gradually done. But the sudden changes certainly caught my attention! Very cool for a first listen but I can see this being hard to listen to over a while since I'd want certain parts to stick around longer.
