We're at a transformative time for luxury cars. A time in which we're rapidly heading towards electrification, skateboard platforms and big SUVs.

The Mulsanne pushes some impressive stats, including a mind-bending 0-60MPH launch speed of 4.8 seconds despite weighing 2.7 tonnes!

We believe that the Bentley Mulsanne is possibly the last true Bentley badged limousine before the complete takeover from VAG, and for that reason, it deserves celebrating. In this video, John explores what it's like driving a Β£265,000 limousine with a legendary hand-built engine dating back to 1959.

EDITORS NOTE: Whoops - we got the weight slightly wrong. We state in the video it's 3,200kg when its actual weight is 2,700kg (still, very impressive, right??)

I can't get that car out of my head. It must have given Rolls-Royce sleepless nights.

A wonderful piece of engineering and artwork. Beautiful. Best review, my first on your channel. I am preparing myself to purchase one or a spur very soon. This will be my last vehicle.
  • My first car was a VW Phaeton, got it when I was 20, driving it now for almost 10 years. Thinking about getting a Mulsanne for my 30th birthday. Do you guys think its a good replacement? Love the channel and thanks for everything!
  • RIP Bentley Mulsanne... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
  • Hello! Congratulations on the video. Moving on, I would like to know a detail here: on some websites, it states that the Mulsanne Speed version has a maximum power of 530 HP @ 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 811 b-ft @ 1750 rpm. On the other hand, other sites mention 530 HP generated from 3500 to 4200 rpm, while the maximum torque of 811 lb-ft ranges from 1750 to 3250 rpm. Which information is correct? Or has there been any regulation change depending on the year and model of each Mulsanne? Thanks in advance, looking forward to your response.

You like to drive OK, not in NY, or FL during rush hour with all the road rage and bad drivers, maybe in in Oslo, Zurich or the like.
  • Always had a soft spot for one of these… but more likely to get GTC😊

10:20 Well you can get a black SUV with your bodyguards opening the way for you while on the road.
  • I wouldn't need to change NUTHIN on that 1, I love the gray om black... I'd probably get 26 inch rim & tires πŸ‘‰πŸ½ That's it!!😎
