Love your Alaska videos. I’ve lived in AK since 1977 and have hiked many of your your hikes over the years and loved them all. Reed Lakes was my favorite one of all. My wife’s motto is “If you wait for good weather, you will never go anywhere.”

It's hard to imagine such clear water!!! Beautiful!!! I love how jagged the mountains are! Congrats on your 🎣 catch!! I enjoy visiting historic sites with buildings or remnants of buildings as well, history is so important! What a fancy laundromat! Sounds like it's time to soak in a hot tub!! My wife and I started following you before our trip to Wasilla to see friends, and loved the advice and guidance you both gave. It really made our Alaska trip magical! We visited independence mine with 59 of our cousins in 1990. Later, it became a state park and they have certainly made a lot of renovations for the buildings and provided a lot more information than we were able to read about. Thanks for all the photographs you took I make screen copies so I can read and spend a little more time to hear the read the history.

Fun story, me and a group of friends in the winter would go out to Hatchers on Sunday's when we had time to do road runs with snowboards. We would take turns driving up and down picking everyone up at the bottom. Is a spot near the top to drop off and you snowboard back down to another area after the road dog legs at the bottom. We called it going to church. 😀
