Damn, gonna really miss Wendigoon. Can't believe he just drowned in a kiddy pool despite being an excellent swimmer, then shot himself twice in the back of the head while hanging himself, all while the FBI found 500 TB of CP on a Windows 95 computer in his basement, despite the fact his house doesn't have a basement

The fact they could’ve arrested him away from Waco so many times is insane. It’s almost as if they wanted this fire fight
  • "why didnt he just come out" my guy nearly died trying to surrender

The ATF got this weird talent of being always the villain, no matter how fuckin deranged their opponent is lmfao
  • "I don't know what psychological warfare is." That is, hands-down, the funniest testimony I've ever heard from an FBI agent.

I love how the ATF was worried about their bad publicity due to ruby ridge and wanted to prove why they shouldn’t be disbanded. By then continuing to prove exactly why they should be disbanded.

I think it’s sick how Vernon says to the negotiator “don’t burn our building down” and the negotiator replies “awe we won’t do that” all condescending like. It’s dark. Really dark.
  • "The devil often hides behind the cross" also hides behind 3 letter agencies
  • "Why didn't David just come out?" He did in the beginning, with his hands up, and the feds shot him twice. That might have affected things a wee bit.
  • @joeyblaze2509
ATF: "Okay we messed up at Ruby Ridge so let's try and do better next time." Also ATF: *as the compound burns to the ground* "We did it boys. Cultism is no more."
  • @DaithenField
Wendigoon pulling put his airsoft rifles and saying "it's kinda like legos" is why I love this channel

So as a chemist, I have to mention that dichloromethane (methylene chloride, DCM) isn’t that flammable. It will burn, but it needs a decent amount of energy input to get it to burn. I once tested this by putting a couple drops on a microscope slide, tried to light it on fire, and it took some effort. When it does finally start to burn, it burns with a weak, dirty flame. That is at least when it’s a liquid that’s not thoroughly mixed with air. DCM is also very volatile meaning it vaporizes very easily; it has a boiling point of about 40 C (or about 103 F which for a solvent is a very low boiling point), and a very high vapor pressure meaning it readily jumps from the liquid phase to the gas phase. When mixed very thoroughly with air, and in it’s vapor phase it’s probably easier to ignite. However, it’s nothing like ethyl ether (which will easily ignite on a hot surface; it doesn’t even require a spark), or even something like ethanol which is still pretty flammable. Regardless, I hope DCM has been phased out for aerosolizing tear gases because the main risk of DCM is it’s toxicity. It’s not as toxic as something like cyanides. It’s not even the most toxic solvent that’s still used (that dubious honor goes to tetrachloromethane, aka carbon tetrachloride, or maybe carbon disulfide), but it’s still toxic. Exposure to large quantities can cause serious damage to organs. Oh, and it’s thought to be a possible carcinogen. If its intended use is to be a component of a non-lethal weapon used by police then the solvent should at least be nontoxic, so people aren’t accidentally poisoned by it. Anyway, I don’t believe the cultists lit the fire themselves. Too many lies from the government to believe anything they say. This is just my input on the solvent used to aerosolize CS since I’ve worked with DCM in the laboratory many, many times as a solvent for reactions, extractions, etc.

It’s incredible to me that a triple-letter institution, having killed a woman and child in a botched raid, decide that they need to improve their image and their first idea is to do the same thing on a bigger scale.
  • @tommyottoking
it still fucks me up that the ATF and FBI killed a woman and child after an agent shot a dog without identifying himself as a marshal to a young man who wasn't expecting people to shoot his dog.
  • @iiXboxLiive
"Keep Your Rifle by Your Side" playing in the background of the intro was a nice touch.
  • @subject9600
Not to mention (if ive heard correctly) regarding the two shotguns that started the Ruby ridge thing. They were in fact created by the father at the request of an undercover ATF agent. An undercover federal agent asked him to make two illegal guns... which is entrapment. I have been informed this is wrong it was a civilian informant not an agent and according to them Weaver approached them about the guns first. So not entrapment still a very bad situation all around.
  • @strawb2128
The FBI joking about them needing better fire insurance before gassing the building is straight up movie villain stuff.
  • Cant believe Wendigoon was found with 3 Self inflicted bullet wounds to The head, after The government found out he planned to build an unauthorized shack on his garden. His house also mysteriously caught on fire, his car dissapeared, and cat was ran over by a moped.

Who else's coming back to this after Wendi's Ruby Ridge video 🙋🏻
