I love the scene where Kamala and Maria are falling and then they switch and Nick goes “Oh it’s just Carol” 😂😂😂

That Flerkin scene was the absolute highlight for me. The mixture of humor and horror had me covering my mouth as I belly-laughed, as to not ruin other people's enjoyment.

This might have been the first MCU film in a while that actually felt FUN to watch and not just homework to understand the MCU timeline.

The Marvels gave us a lot of answers to lingering questions. Fitting, considering what huge MCU superfans both Kamala and Iman are. Her reactions to everything were so fun!!

I sat down and enjoyed the movie all the way through. Because I didn't set up unrealistic expectations etc and just let myself have fun. And was thoroughly rewarded with that mid credits scene.

One of the problems I've been having is that the silliness often doesn't match the characters or the stakes. For me, the Aladna scene (which I was dreading) felt fun and earned because Iman Vellani managed to serve as a bridge to the singing and dancing culture of South Asia, and the character looked so comfortable in this totally bizarre situation. I don't want much more of Aladna, but it felt earned in this movie.

Just came out of my second viewing - this is an excellent MCU movie. Heroes literally HUGGING each other! Honestly, the chemistry between these 3 is excellent.

Based on Valkyrie’s clothing, I’m confident that The Marvels takes place before Thor: Love and Thunder. I also think it may end up being before Secret Invasion chronologically.
