Every fighter that says they are not concerned should be asked the same question every 5 years. I bet most will be pretty concerned once they hit 45 - 50 and start struggling to put sentences together. . . too late to help them but might just be in time to help the kids that look up to them
  • @IRPROFFESIONAL
he doesn't care about it because he's already braindamaged
  • @danewoods4712
4 years later with no wins since. Wonder how his brain is feeling now
  • Think about it when ya get older youll often forget the task you are completing plus with the odd mood swings. Later you shit down and ask yourself was it all worth it? Then youll forget that you even had a thought such as that.

as we began to understand the effects of head injuries in the fight game more regulations will be put in place to protect the fighters. Such regulations should include no more than 2 or 3 fights a year, limiting sparring and monthly health check ups. Eventually with technology we will be better at detecting the damage with brain waive scans and can act accordingly

avoiding taking head shots in training probably would do more to avoid CTE than the actual fights, not sure if that'll ever happen tho.

He simply doesn't know what he doesn't know. I think he will have a different opinion when he cannot remember his kids names or he thinks his wife is the devil or something else tragic/ horrific. I am not trying to be flippant, he is headed for this life.
  • His driving his motorcoach like it's a lamborgeni,on public roads is tuff.

This guy put more life in a year then most people. He does what he loves so why should he care man. He enjoys life now. Most people will look back and realise they never really lived. So may he's fucked up with 50. But in those years he had more fun then most people.

You still have a boss, and he's taking your health and turning it into a prfit.
  • @Dana__black
This is kind of sad. It is his life tho. 🤷‍♂️
  • granted there are obvious risks for cte in mma and boxing or nfl but lets be real if you suddenly said to the athletes you cant do this anymore its banned - how many would hit the bottle and destroy their bodies a different way anyway . they know the risks - they do it anyway . good for them. i would be the exact same if i wanted to do it

I respect him because he takes a lot of fights. Too many of these guys cry about money yet they fight once a year. Cowboy knows you only have so much time in this business and he is making as much as he can while he can.
