I’d love to see a physical copy. I know it would be another massive undertaking to find a publisher and everything, but I’d comfortably spend $30-$40 on a nice physical copy. Keep up the good work!

Angus, it's nice to see that you've updated your 3D printing book. I'd purchased your first book back in 2017 when you'd released it and it really "upped" my "game" in terms of printing. Hopefully your updated book will do the same for those who are 3D printing novices and/or shine new light on the hobby for us seasoned veterans. Great work as always. 😁
  • This channel is the reason I got to 3D printing! Thank you so much for the effort you put in these videos to help makers accomplish their dreams!
  • Thanks Angus for doing this. Over the last cuple of years I have got so much help from your videos and website to make my FDM printing work for me and my Ender 3 Max. i think one of the best design tips I got from you was sacrificial bridging, which has made it so much easier to print recessed horizontal holes without support material that can be impossible to remove. I look forward to reading through your eBook!

Looks great but it looks like I have to create an account somewhere to order it. That’s not going to happen. How do I purchase a copy of the e-book that allows checkout as a guest without creating yet another account on yet another web site?
  • I noticed in your example pictures: "Holding the loose end and the spool taught, unwind the filament..." I believe you meant "taut", unless you're intending to teach the spool a lesson! :)
  • @ChriFux
It's a convenient way to support you, thanks! I might even read it at some point 😄

It's great you've made an updated version of your book available. Good on you. For a physical copy, the Amazon option is an excellent choice. No upfront costs for you or concerns over shipping etc. and it will get your book in front of eyes that may never have seen your Youtube channel. Whatever you decide, I'm very thankful for all the great info you've given over the years 👍

Just bought the book! Ive only skimmed it but I can already tell it's going to be incredibly helpful. Thanks Angus!

Purchased! Looking forward to having everything in one place. I recently got started printing so this should be awesome for me. Thank you!
  • Hi Angus, Great site. Just download your new ebook and at a glance has a lot of info that I've been after for while. Many thanks

Would be cool for future books to add QR codes, to some pages and topics, that leads to a YouTube Video from you where the topic is explained again or with more helpful examples

Video idea I had: testing the extremes of different nozzle sizes. Essentially seeing how small or large you can set things like layer height or line width to see if a nozzle is still reliable at the extremes or if it’s better to just swap it out for a properly sized one. Suggesting this cause I’ve wondered if it’s still actually possibly to print things like .12mm layer height on a .6mm nozzle. I know around 5 or 6 years ago you did a video about why nozzle diameter is important, but I figured you could add your modern understanding of it to make something really interesting.

Hi Angus also known as Mr Banana shirt man it’s me Austin from the mini battle bot competition. I wanted to say that I love your videos they are very inspiring. keep up the good work!🤩😁
  • I knew I was going to buy it even before I saw the video. Certainly there is a lot of good 3D printing advice in forums and in Facebook groups, but quite frankly a lot of it is contradictory. It is good to find a book from a trusted and experienced source like you, Angus. Congratulations on completing this book, and I hope many others buy it.
  • @TonyCelliers
Thank you very much Angus, you are very kind and generous. I always watch your vids and am amazed at your knowledge on the subject. Looking forward to the resin version.

Ok bro, I ordered your book and I have an old Ender printer collecting dust. May your book finally start my journey to 3D printing.
