  • Listen carefully: I DON'T WANT ANY SCHOOL AGAIN. See what you've done, school?

PEOPLE - this isn't bullying, it's assault - and in this case, assault and battery. Bullying is words and shunning. The first time someone lays hands on your kid, it's assault. Period.

Until school officials are held accountable for their inaction bullying will always be a problem

Sue the parents for all the medical bills.

Agree with the solution of parents not sending their kids back to school when safety is an obvious oversight. No kid can learn when survival is a threat.

Why does these situations have to go to the media before the school does anything. What is happening in schools!!! this is awful, just awful. My heart goes out to this young boy
  • From everything I've seen reported, going to school officials with complaints is a total waste of time. They are more concerned with protecting the trouble makers than protecting their victims. That 6 year old who shot his teacher....school officials were warned multiple times that day that the child had a gun, nothing was done.
  • Bill the kids parents for hospital bills take those parents of the bullies to court

I was bullied in school the entire time. I ended up getting withdrawn from all public schools by the city’s education department due to threats on my life. That was their way of dealing with it. We should start teaching self defense at an early age.

Josiah, be home schooled! In your future, the adult world where intelligence matters, no one will ever care that you were home schooled. What will matter is your intelligence. You are on the right track if you do not go back to that school or any school that has potential for violent behavior from fellow students.
  • So sorry for what happened to this young man. It is intolerable. Schools need to offer more than lip service to ensure every bully knows there will be serious consequences for their actions, including expulsion.

Those kind of kids who are willing to do such harm to other kids will most likely become our future criminals in society. That is why it is essential while they are still at this age that they get the help they need before that future can become their reality.

I go to school there and they address bullying so much even before this kids don’t care about them addressing it
  • This is beyond ridiculous. Something has to give. Bully’s and hardcore trouble makers should be paying that absolute high price. Going to school and making other innocent students pay for whatever their going through is absolutely unacceptable. That’s what bully’s do. They make others pay for whatever their mentally going through to make themselves feel better. Frankly I’ve been discusted by that my entire life because I was one of those targets myself. Something has to give. Nobody deserves to be bullied regardless.Nobody. Make the bullies pay that ultimate price. Do SOMETHING.
  • I had a friend who’s kid was being bullied. He went to the principal several times. When his son was beaten by several classmates and his arm broken he went to the principal’s house and “told” him whatever happens to his son he’s going to get double done to him. The bullying stopped
  • I've learned that if you're family is not rich and you get bullied document everything you have done right. Like how you went to the principal first to reason with them. If they are not going to listen or just give the kids a slap on the wrist your gonna have to get justice through your own means. Study the laws and regulations for your school district and use that knowledge to dig up dirt on them. Bring it to the school board or superintendent just keep climbing up the ladder. Threaten to get a lawyer or actually get one if you have enough evidence of their wrongdoings.
