    Yeah sad to see what he turned into, idk how they're gonna handle him in Season 5. I know he's said to be pure evil, but I still feel like he genuinely cared for Eleven before she sent him to the Upside Down. I mean im sure Vecna will die next season since its the final season, but perhaps as Vecna/One is dying he'll either realize how wrong he is, kinda like Darth Vader by the end of Return of the Jedi, except it wouldn't really be redemption since Vecna would already be dying. Either that or Vecna is so truly evil that he'll hate Eleven even more

    When I first watched this, the bit where Two complained about how Brenner and the lab “waste so much time with her” immediately got me wondering. Then at the end of this same episode, when Eleven in the present tense (1986) tried to run from the Nina Project, she had an exchange of dialogue with Brenner: “Papa”; “Daughter”; then they held hands as he guided her back down the hall. It really seemed to me like they were saying Brenner was in fact Eleven’s biological father. Did anybody else get this impression, too?
