For those who missed Dr Berg notes: 1. Follow a keto diet—consume the right fats and the right types of protein. A keto diet is low in carbs, but there are some specific guidelines you should follow to lose weight quickly. Avoid omega-6 fatty acids found in seed oils like corn oil, soy oil, cottonseed oil, canola oil, safflower oil, and sunflower oil. Consumption of these ultra-processed, highly inflammatory seed oils directly correlates with obesity rates. Seed oils are often hidden in salad dressings and fast food and can even be found in animal feed. It’s also important to choose the correct proteins on keto. Opt for high-quality proteins like grass-fed, grass-finished beef and wild-caught fish 2. Eat a large salad every day. A large salad each day provides potassium, magnesium, folate, vitamin C, and phytonutrients. If your salad greens are grown in healthy, living soil, the salad also provides probiotics. This helps diversify the microbiome, helping you to lose weight quickly. If you have gut issues, consume fermented vegetables or eliminate vegetables altogether. 3. Combine the ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting. To lose fat quickly, combine keto with intermittent fasting. Dropping to one meal per day (OMAD) yields the fastest results. On one meal a day, you will fast for 23 hours. This gets your body adapted to running on fat very quickly. You’ll also notice cognitive improvements, positive mood changes, and decreased inflammation. 4. Exercise regularly, but don’t overdo it! Walking and HIIT are the best exercises to lose belly fat fast. Walking every day speeds up weight loss, reduces stress, and improves sleep. Improved sleep reduces cortisol and enhances growth hormones, both of which are necessary for weight loss. HIIT exercise involves short, intense workouts that work all muscle groups. Do not overdo it with exercise! You only need to do HIIT 1 to 3 days per week. Thank you Dr Berg!😺👍

Dr Berg, you single handedly saved my life. I do not have insurance nor do I trust doctors but I was very certain I was dying.. I had terrible chest pains and was 220lbs.. I listened to your advice and have been time restricted eating with low carb non strict carnivore diet (I eat some veggies and dairy) I am down to 175lbs with no chest pain!!
  • I'm 56 years old, and almost 2 years ago, I weighed in at close to 350 pounds since starting keto. My weight is under 200 pounds now. I understand now why it's taking longer for me to get my belly back to normal because of eating so unhealthy many years ago, but I'm not giving up, I'll continue to work as hard as I can to have that flat belly. The main thing now is that my health is way better than ever and energy, too.

Walking is a game changer. I started step by step and incrementally increased the distance, now I’m certified hiking obsessed.
  • 3 months ago I had excess belly fat, started to do this Keto thing. - after 1 month: lost 25% of it, walked every day ~6500 steps, mostly meat. - after 2 months: lost 50%, walked ~7500 steps, also overall more energy, and nail fungus is gone, added some vegetables, 60s of cold shower at the end. - after 3 months: lost 85%, still ~7500 steps, also doing some exercice, added even more vegetables, 120s of cold shower at the end. I've got a lot of energy, almost never tired! So far it seems to work well!!

Thank you for continuing to educate the public. I was 235 and my waist was 42 inches; I was pre-diabetic and had pain in my knees, hips, hands, and feet. I removed all sugar and refined carbs, have done OMAD and IF for the last 6 months. I’ve lost 9 inches off my waist - 3 sizes and 45 pounds. I am 190 now and my goal is 150. I’m more than halfway there thanks to you. I’m pain free and sleep better than I ever have and my skin looks great! I’m a carnivore so this is perfect for me. Thanks again! ❤

I'm almost 50 and was 75 pounds over weight. I'm an all or nothing type (addictive personality), so there's no snacking or taking a break from being 100% OMAD+Carnivore. I 'feast' everyday at 1 pm and don't eat anything for 23 hours. I lost 30 pounds in two months. I have 45 more pounds to go which I forecast will happen by June. This plan works for me. I love having the freedom to eat a big meal at least once per day (mostly ribeyes and eggs). No sugar, no carbs, just pure carnivore for me. It works. I really appreciate Dr. Berg's videos. Thank you.

Type 1 diabetic here. Nearly 30 years in good control. I’ve been using proper Olive oil in my cooking for the last 7-8 years. I eat keto, mostly carnivore, but with salad everyday. I feel great and I’m trim and in shape, focusing on walking and weight lifting. By now I can SMELL the industrial seed oils in our culture whenever I’m near a fast food restaurant or even a nice sit down place. It smells horrible to me, it smells like obesity and cancer to me. It’s unbelievable how much of a turn off it is and how I didn’t smell it before.

An absolute gem as usual, this man needs to be protected at all cost. Thank you Doc!

That last quote is so relevant… Before I would be dieting with the end goal of eventually becoming happier and more confident in myself. Since starting OMAD and Keto, my guts become so much healthier, and within 2 weeks my anxiety and depression has lifted. Something which has followed me for years. It’s really a revelation. Now I’m happier and more confident WHILST dieting, and enjoying the process so so much. Good luck to everyone on the journey. 💪💪💪
  • I always use extra virgin olive oil 🫒 in my salads 🥗. And i put apple cider vinegar with half a lemon 🍋 and pink salt with cracked black pepper ⚫.
  • Even when I was super fit and thin in my 20-40s, I was never able to lose that fat on my lower tummy. Went on a keto diet and 18:6 fast aged 67 in March 2022 and that fat has vanished. I'm still shocked at how easy it was. Physically and cognitively, I feel I'm in the best shape I have ever been. Thank you Dr Eric for all the great advice you have given over the years. You are a lifesaver, sir.

may you have a fantastic day and many more to come🥰

Man since I went through menopause my belly looks like I am pregnant. Thank you for this
  • @MarcusDurand
Totally agree with what is being said on this video. Wake up world! I used to be obese, and have basically followed what this video outlines and have lost the weight and kept it off--only when I ate sugar, junk food, fast food, etc, did I ever gain weight again. And eating crappy food hits you twice actually, because you're losing health, but you're also making Big Food companies richer. Because they don't care about you, your health, or your nutrition, they only care about profit. Never forget that. But if I can control what I eat, so can you.
  • @jimmills9526
Dr Berg, I have been watching you for a few years now and at 58, you have helped immensely! I cannot fathom why some are trying to discredit you lately - and about a "Lemon" - really!!! I told him what I thought about that - keep up the GREAT work and I'll keep watching! ;)
  • @srb111
One month of fasting for 17 hours each day. Very easy and saved my life. Planning to repeat every year.
  • @HeadPack
Excellent. Appreciate that you have provided the transcript.

My wife, who got hit by premature menopause at 40 and lost her periods for a year, came back to active mensturation after going on ketovore (keto + carnivore) + IF + workouts + supplements , for 6 months. Who says menopause cannot be reversed ?? Now I am trying to reverse my "andropause" using a similar approach. Will update you guys after 3, 6 months. It's not only about losing weight & visceral fat. it's also about increasing / retaining muscle & bone mass, as well as having libido, sustained energy levels, mental clarity & drive to do things.
