I love this! Here is none of the fake smiles and crowd pleasing you see in modern ballroom dance or dancers on tv. Here, all we have is the raw passion of Spanish Flamenco, the dancers and the dance. Wonderful!
  • I have seen these performers back then, in my beloved Granada. How many times I've hurried past them, or others, dancing in Plaza Nueva - late for something! And now how this video pulls my heart apart with longing to return there soon. Flamenco swept me up when I was 50. I'm almost 75 now, and still return to study in Granada, which may be the most beautiful place in the world. I say that in the same way that your mother or your child is the most beautiful in the world (whether or not it is objectively true). This video has almost 4 million views... my hopes for all those performers here, that they are safe, and well, and happy! Olé! Viva flamenco!

  • I remember going to Spain when I was 10 with my parents and watching dancers live in the streets at night. At least 300 people crowded around these dancers to watch their performances. I was utterly blown away
  • Olee! Saludos de un Latino Americano Mexicano viva España y viva Mexico!!

I love her facial expression - usually dancers are just smiling, but this lady is like "I will dance the f*uck out of you". Whoah! <3
  • Holy, didn't even expected such voice from a woman in the background singing nor such footsteps from dancers.
  • Watching this group from California, I often dance along them in my backyard. If there is a next life, I want to be a dancer in the beautiful poetic Granada.

Te amo España. No nací en tus tierras, pero soy español sanguíneo, de familia y de pasaporte. 🇦🇷✌️🇪🇦

Absolutely brilliant! It's been 30 years since I was in Spain. Loved the country, the culture, the people, the food. Loved Granada and all Andalucia. I remember being on the beach at Alicante and a group of young people started to hand clap Flamenco style. I thought preserve your customs rather then following American music. The Spanish know how to live and enjoy life.

Was fortunate to see Flamenco on my honeymoon this past Spring. So far, the MOST powerful and emotional art forms I've ever witnessed.
  • @Yourllocalgirly
No other art form expresses more passion and emotion than Flamenco !

The dancer with flower in hair absolutely radiated power!

The athletic prowess it takes to perform at that speed in such a controlled way never ceases to amaze me.
