Is The iPhone XR Still Worth It In 2023? Well, It Depends...

I've had the iPhone XR a few times and it's a great budget iPhone. People complain about the screen resolution, but it's bright enough and color accurate so it never bothered me. Even the camera is surprisingly good. Performance was still really good as Apple is far ahead in processing power. Even in 2023 if you can find a good deal on it then It's worth it if it has a high battery health. Just look at how many millions of units of the XR sold and that tells you specs don't matter and quality does. The XR is a great quality device for the price.

Still have my 128gb XR, bought used 3 years ago. Still 85% battery health and running smooth. I don't have a reason to upgrade but I usually upgrade every 2-3 years. I kind of wish Apple would stop supporting the XR to give me a reason to upgrade. lol I would enjoy a better screen or at least a wide angle camera also. Honestly I see myself using this phone another 1 or 2 years at least since Apple support is so good.

My sister uses the XR for almost 2 years now, still works for her just for casual use. Social media, personalization, and other daily phone routines. Nothing fancy but it's user-friendly. Still a good deal for this year.

As someone who kinda wants an Apple Watch but who doesn't wanna pay an arm and a leg for an iPhone just to use said watch, I've seen that refurbished iPhone XRs go for pretty cheap so this is a great video to show up for me 😅

We bought refurbished XRs through our cell phone provider and have been content with them. Mine was an upgrade from a 6s and my partner’s from a flip phone. He hates it - but not for the merits of the XR. He just hates smartphones! For me it’s fine, mostly. The only reason I would think about upgrading at the moment is for the camera. I recently replaced my main computer with an M1 Mac Mini. The XR is compatible with camera continuity on the latest system update and works okay with what I do for now (zoom calls and piano lessons). At some point better video quality might be preferable. I appreciate the honest look from your video (“if you have an XR, keep it”)… sometimes I do get caught up in the hype on the latest and greatest, so this was helpful advice.

Im switching from a XR to a 15 soon, the XR has been one of my most reliable phones ever, I’m very clumsy, so I was shocked to see how well it’s stood against my antics for about 3 years now, the switch to the 15 is definitely gonna be jarring but I think it’ll be a switch for the better

I personally think the 10r, and the 11 are Apples best. They have character. The 14 is boring, and the 13 and 14 have no features. We still have a simcard slot on the 10r and 11...and they take good video and pics. Just my user experienced opinion.

Had original 11 definitely recommend and had 6 before that. Apple quality control is on top of the game.

2 days ago, I switch from the XR to the 12 and I’m very happy: better screen, better cameras. However, battery is bad.

Replacing mine after 2 years of use, really enjoyed the phone but 64gb isn't enough for me anymore and the performance and battery life are starting to degrade. Gonna be getting a 128gb 12 mini, I know the mini has bad battery life but I need a new phone and I can't afford a normal sized 12 with that much storage

This is old!? Dude I still use an iPhone 6s with no issues while my 13 sets in a drawer for future use. I know the XR isn’t brand new anymore but it’s definitely NOT old or not not worth it..iPhones last much longer now than in the 4s days so 5 years old isn’t old for an iPhone anymore.

I’m still using the iPhone 10 xr I had it for two years still great condition nothing wrong with it

What unique XR has its curvy and round edges with aluminium design which gives the most premium feel in your hands in comparison to boxy design with sharp edges in latter models. Xr has its own fan base. Wish Apple comes up with this design in Amoled screen back again. Best phone in my opinion. Using it since 3.5 years and no issue faced even once.

But considering switching for my LG phone to an iPhone and I was considering either this or the 11 do you think this one would be good for me because I don't need an extremely powerful Fallen I just needed to run a few games here in there and YouTube social media all that

I've had the iPhone 8 but changed for the first time to Samsung S21 FE. But it feels slower than my old iPhone 8, and the camera quality is not so good as Samsung says it is. The single cam of the iPhone 8 is still better. And i do not like Android, to much settings, it is a mess. I'm autistic, all those annoying settings and ads drive me crazy. I want to go back to iPhone, but can only afford a cheap one like XR or SE2. My iPhone 8's battery is dead, so can't use it anymore. Thanks for your vid, i think the XR will a good one.
