I came out to San Diego from Texas on vacation in the summer of 1984, and I never went back. This place is so special.

One of the few beaches that show true California beach lifestyle

Great video. No loud music or commentary just the natural sounds of being there in person. Very relaxing and really enables one to appreciate and take in all the flavors of the various locations. Thanks for posting this.

Classic coastal Southern California weather....where a third of people are dressed like it is 65 degrees, another third dressed like it is 95 degrees, and another third dressed like it is both 65 and 95 degrees at the same time.

100 years from now, we'll all be long gone and forgotten and people will see this and marvel at how life used to be.
  • I love California, hugs to the beautiful people I love...Kisses from Chicago. California is such a beautiful state that I love the most. Nice video, thanks for the virtual tour of San Diego from Chicago, IL

When I met my wife in San Antonio she was living in Buffalo (going to UB) and I lived in Pacific Beach. After 6 months of long distance we concluded someone had to move. She grew up in Montreal and I had lived in a very cold, snowing climate as well (but CA was always my home). I won the argument and she moved to PB. The walk in the beginning of this video was basically the walk we did every morning. That walk (especially in "winter") sold San Diego to her. Now, we live in University City with our 3 kids, two German Shepherds, and busy schedule. But we still do weekly walks in PB and along the beach.

I did my semester abroad at SDSU and daydream about San Diego ever since. It’s just the feelings and emotions evoked whenever I can be there. At least I‘ll walk at PV virtually for now, thank you :)

I love San Diego so much, I fell into a depression upon returning to Detroit, MI. Experiencing that city for the first time was a HUGE culture shock, and unbelievably fun, new and exciting. Balboa Park (and the Rose Garden - wow!) was an absolute wonder to behold with my eyes. The people are so chill, fun and relaxed. Very friendly and open. Very California-like. Being in SD sparked a drive in me to get BACK as soon as possible so I have the free time to do a whole lot more exploring and adventures, something that's hard to do if you're working a normal job to pay bills and such. So, I figured, "I may as well get rich", and as I speak, I'm getting pretty damn good in my career of choice (forex) so I have both the time and financial freedom to visit areas I haven't been but heard a lot about, like Pacific Beach. This is just beautiful. The vendors, store fronts, nosy people lol. Thank you for this, for reminding me of my dream.
