He is alive but he isnt at the same time, this is kinda sad. Blind, deaf, cant feel a thing not even pain, he cant learn...
-
Props to the doctor lady, she admitted she didn’t know rather than giving you a guess to look smarter.
-
He passed away a few years ago at 5 years old. RIP.
-
Im glad this little baby got so much love before his passing 😢
-
He may be surviving, but ultimately he isn’t ‘living’
-
This is cruel. I’m a medical student and I just learned about this condition. The child only has a brain stem which makes it only possible to live in a vegetative state and nothing beyond.
-
The specialist answered perfectly. What a graceful, empathetic, diplomatic professional. This couple are great parents too, selfless, loving, and he brings them joy, you can see that.
-
2:23 "This is Jackson today, severely disabled but thriving." Then proceeds to detail how he completely can't function, has seizures, and is basically an animated vegetable.

2019 update Jaxon is now 5 Still unable to communicate in any form and is bedridden/stroller-ridden. Parents are divorced. Mom has a new boyfriend and also had some work done. Jaxon is now in a care facility. Mom and dad are being investigated for charity fraud. Source: Facebook digging.

The doctor seems pissed at the parents.
-
That's not a miracle, that's a tragedy.
-
People truly are fucked, saying this is a “miracle” is just insulting poor little guy
-
this is awful. he doesn’t even know he exists, and yet they’re saying this is some sort of ‘miracle’. my heart goes out to this poor boy. edit: can you all stfu in my replies
-
This little boy passed away a few years back.. his eyes were so very beautiful.. his parents did a phenomenal job raising him up... unconditionally loved forever..
-
UPDATE: He died in North Carolina on April 1, 2020, due to complications from his condition. He was 5 years old.
-
Bless these parents. He survived as long as he did because of their love and care. Sending all the love to them.
-
To be honest, I'd rather die than live a life this painful.
-
This child is suffering. He's not living, he's just existing. I wouldn't have done that with my son.
-
Reading a book to a baby with no frontal lobe.
-
RIP Jaxon. You were too pure and too sweet for this world.
