  • Andy Whitfield was a true alpha specimen at 39. What a great legacy he left behind in just one season.

Spartacus thinking: "One day I will make you eat those words, at the end of my sword." This show was bad ass.

One of the most epic scenes in the history of cinema. In my humble opinion. Blood and Sand will probably always be my favorite series. The shots of Spartacus standing up after being knocked down seem like foreshadowing of the monster the Romans had created. #spartacus #andywhitfield
  • When that music hits and everyone in the room is feeling the pressure. Everyone except Spartacus.
  • God I miss the original actor of Spartacus, when he was gone RIP, I had a hard time accepting the new one but how they continued the series made me happy and I learned to like the new actor. One of my most favorite shows on STARZ I’m sure many of you feel the same ❤

Illithia getting moist for Spartacus gets me every time lol.

I swear the same guy playing the Roman guard has been reused countless times in the series 🤣

I love this scene. It’s like Spartacus is saying with his eyes is this all you have for me.
  • I love how Spartacus, when he is standing from water, looks at Glaber for a moment (and Batiatus notes that), then he turns left to keep fighting, and before the last punch to the gladiator, he looks at Glaber again (and I also get the impression that he continues to keep his gaze with him after finishing) . Great actor, and great director.

when he saw Glaber smirk, it re-invigorated his hatred & he showed no mercy!!

Dude was such an amazing actor, what this show could have been if he hadn't fought cancer to a draw, shit, season 1 is legendary alone.
  • @cadian122
After season 1 i couldnt watch this show anymore because the first actor that played Spartacus died ... He owned that role and show ...

I like how Spartacus is disarmed of one of his practice swords while defeating two Roman soldiers, but he still elects to fight the next three without picking it back up. Then in War of the Damned, he demonstrates he probably didn’t need any weapons at all.

  • @Onigirli
    Dialogue game is achingly lovely

This is my favourite scene, a foreshadowing of his rebellion. Thank you for posting it!
