**PLEASE READ**: So there's been a major technical mistake with this video. This is only HALF the video, as for whatever reason, the video didn't render the rest of the guide. I have NO WAY to recover the raw footage I used but here's the continuation of the guide in TEXT FORM. Again I am super sorry that the video ends abruptly but I have no way to fix this and I worked far too hard and spent way too much time not to publish something. I will **literally miss bill payments if I don't publish this video**. So here's the rest of the guide: Craft blacksmith armor and weapon tables. Mass produce chain armor till you level it up enough for a full set of armor (chest, legs, boots, gloves, helmet) Make a bellows to make a furnace to make metal spikes then start making iron pikes to level weaponsmithing Use Rawhide from tannery to turn it into string and straps to create bracers and looms Use looms to create cloth Use cloth to create leggings and capes Don't bother with food crafting stations as most of the food takes ages to cook and is worse than random mushrooms and berries on the ground. The tower progress: Got really high up, then crumbled for some reason, got re-made a bit shorter. Don't bother fighting NPC humanoids as they are wayyy too strong even if you're in full chain mail and iron weapons. Again, SUPER SORRY for the weird editing blunder I've never had this happen before but trying to record this game really stressed my software so I guess the video footage got corrupted and my rendering software didn't recognize it? I dunno what happened honestly out of thousands of videos this has never once happened and I truly am sorry but hopefully you found the first half of the video useful it'll get you way ahead of the causal players for sure.
  • @Cuppa-oc4yf
This was such a comprehensive and well presented introduction. Thank you.
  • @Itstoearly
Thanks for the guide, good info! Also, gneiss is a real life type of rock (pronounced just like "nice")
  • @uberrod
Thank you so much for the pickaxe weapon trick. I can't explain how much trouble I had hunting deer during Alpha 2 testing.
  • @shammylevva
Gneiss rock the G is silent so it's actually pronounced as if it were NICE!!! It's actually a real type of rock.
  • @1dolarjoe
Pretty good advices on resource management(time management) and hunting(with current animal ai) gathering etc. Make a second part. Ill sure to watch it before release.
  • @zultanath3299
I couldn't stop laughing at your tree chopping part lol. After having played the alpha even I was like... Ooo I don't know if you can chop that but 50/50 and sure enough you kept getting to chop them lol.
  • @Krissixxyz
This was a great video, it’s a shame some of the footage was lost, although I kind of wish you had written down the info in the video for quick reference next week lol. I haven’t played in the alpha but have been hearing about it and getting excited by watching stuff on YouTube.
  • @curts7801
I clicked because I didn’t want to be critted 3 times in a row. Great videos regardless.

I wanted to thank you for this guide, it helped me alot. And sorry to hear that company mistreated you.
  • @DawnChatman
OOF that's rough!! I think I may have spent too long building a house in Alpha 2. Lol. By the end of the test, I was still running around in my skivvies but I had a cute cabin!! 😆
  • The crafting system and names remind me of a mobile game Grim Soul, I will add Paxdei to my Steam wish list.
  • @JonasGrumby
This reminds of Icarus. You grind away on a random mob generating map for no reason.
  • @SoggyTreks
FYI. Gneiss is a metamorphic rock. Pronounced Nice. Happy Hunting.
  • @pipz420
SawmanUK made a pencil tower during the streamer event lol
  • @Rillip
Gneiss is a real type of rock. It's pronounced "nice". Generally in english when you see a "g" followed by an "n" the "g" is silent.
  • @Oblible
Solid troll if a guide ended by making you craft junk with no further context. "Craft some nails, bars, sheets, and then good luck you lil' lemming."
  • @Ari91
@swolebenji remember when NW released, that was when i daily watched your videos. you think pax dei will be good for some weeks?
