  • put your front toes right between the screws and flick a little bit diagonal all the way up the nose to get a buttery flip. Also levels out your board really well and sets you up for a clean catch. Keep your toes as straight (unpointed) as possible. That’s if you have a powerful enough flick. I learned this from one of my previously sponsored friends with one of the cleanest styles I’ve ever seen.

    Used to be able to kick flip very well when I was 15-16. I can do 30 varial flips before I land a kickflip

    I nearly landed my first KF at the weekend. 43 years of age and getting back into skating. When I used to skate when younger there was no YouTube , I could Ollie and shuv but not much else as it was mostly word of mouth and I didn’t know too many other skaters where I lived.
